目的犯的犯罪形态研究

本文从目的犯的未完成形态 (包括预备犯、中止犯、未遂犯 )与完成形态 (既遂犯 )、目的犯的共犯形态、目的犯的罪数形态 (包括继续犯、转化犯 )等三个方面对目的犯进行了研究 ,提出了自己的观点。

管理模式创新与高校后勤社会化改革

该文对中国高校后勤社会化改革的历程进行回顾和分析,将中国高校目前主要采用的管理模式归结为两大类,即附属模式和独立模式,并采用新公共管理三种基本理论对这两种模式进行比较分析,在此基础上对高校管理模式的创新与重构进行探讨。     

新旧矛盾、结构矛盾及其关系

新旧矛盾是事物内部新的一方与旧的一方组成的矛盾,其主要特征是相克,在事物发展的质变阶段表现比较突出;结构矛盾是事物内部不同部分、层次之间组成的矛盾,其主要特征是相生,在事物发展的量变阶段表现比较突出。两类矛盾相互交织,相互转化,共同推动着事物的运动和发展。实践中,要正确认识两类矛盾,用不同的思维方式解决不同的矛盾,同时,思维方式还要随矛盾的变化而变化,要注重两种思维方式的有机结合,只有这样,对构建和谐社会才有现实的指导价值。     

Implementation and Optimization of the Sodium‐Rhodizonate Method for Chemographic Shooting Distance Estimation

In shooting incident investigations where it is important to estimate the shooting distance, the sodium‐rhodizonate coloring method has been used for the visualization of GSR patterns extensively. This publication describes the optimization of this method by the use of a heated press for the transfer of GSR traces on garments, as well as variation of a number of other important process parameters. Our final aim for this project was to prepare a formal validation of the coloring method as prerequisite for its inclusion into the scope of ISO17025‐certified methods in the GSR Laboratory. A number of important factors and process parameters were identified, such as buffer composition and pH, type of textile used as a substrate and resolution of the documentation of the results. Results were tested using a synthetic proficiency test. Our optimized method has been found to be a very effective technique for visualization of macroscopic GSR traces.     

Do homicide rates increase during weekends and national holidays?

In the UK there has been limited research examining temporal patterns of homicide. To our knowledge, no studies have linked patterns of homicide to the mental health characteristics of the perpetrator. The study examined a national consecutive case series of homicide offences committed between January 1996 and December 2015 in England. Clinical data were collected by the National Confidential Inquiry into Suicide and Safety in Mental Health (NCISH). During this period 10,563 people committed a homicide. The offences were more likely to occur at the weekend, mostly on a Saturday. Weekend homicides were associated with: perpetrators under the age of 25, males and alcohol consumption. Homicides increased markedly on New Year’s Day, and public holidays. Those with a history of mental illness more commonly committed homicide during weekdays, suggesting a different pattern of offending. No change in pattern was found after licensing hours were extended in 2005 to allow 24-h licencing for the sale of alcohol. A public health approach should focus on educating young people on the health risks associated with alcohol, promoting responsible drinking and conflict avoidance, specifically on special events and at weekends.     

Changes in Attenuated Total Reflection Fourier Transform Infrared Spectra as Blood Dries Out

The time since deposition (TSD) of a bloodstain is a valuable piece of evidence for forensic scientists to determine the time at which a crime took place. The objective of this study was to determine whether attenuated total reflection (ATR) Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy could be used to estimate the TSD of a bloodstain in a relatively early period (from 0 min to the time required for the bloodstain to dry out). For this purpose, we used ATR‐FTIR to study the variation in absorbance at certain wavelengths as rat and human blood sample dried out. The absorbance at 3308/cm (A3308) was found to have a close correlation with the TSD during this time period, and the changes in A3308 during the drying of rat and human blood drops under the same controlled conditions showed similar results. The current study indicates that ATR‐FTIR spectroscopy has potential as a tool for estimating TSD at early time periods of blood deposition.
