Black is Beautiful: cuerpos negros en Triunfo

Spaniards and African-Americans share significant cultural memories forged by the profound impact that various artistic and historical events had on each other during the twentieth century. To contribute to an exploration and understanding of these shared memories – which have received relatively little scholarly attention – this essay focuses on the presence of Black America in the 1960s, that is, the period of Late Francoist Spain. More specifically, it intends to initiate the study of the impact of the Black Civil Rights and Black Power movements on Spain’s progressive press. Focusing on a selection of articles published in the iconic leftist magazine Triunfo, it examines how the traditional European fascination with blackness manifests itself during the 1960s. In Triunfo’s articles we encounter suffering, violent, and degraded bodies, as well as revolutionary, political, and eroticized bodies. This combination reveals the problematic coexistence of solidarity and inspiration with an ethnographic and voyeuristic gaze that perpetuates the spectacularity of black bodies for global consumption. While foregrounding the challenges posed by writing and representing the Other, this study is also an attempt to reconstruct more fully the 1960s cultural and intellectual history of Spain and to approach the black liberation struggle from a transnational perspective.

作为一种新批评样式而出现的文学伦理学批评,其理论建构必须围绕文学的本质、功能与价值而展开,这是文学批评学科建设自身逻辑展开的要求。伦理学批评的出现与后续发展既要考虑社会生活中伦理道德的现状,也要指明它们应该发展的方向,这也从另一个侧面回应了“文学既来源于生活又必须高于生活”的科学论断,而对于伦理道德状况的认识也最终将服务于我们自身生活的和谐追求。     

Debating Latin American Aesthetic Theory. Beatriz Sarlo on the Autonomy of Art

For quite some time, Beatriz Sarlo has been at the forefront of the debate over the possibility of ascertaining the aesthetic value of art. The Argentine critic's dismissal of value‐neutral approaches to art has been often criticised as a repackaging of the aestheticist tradition inherited from the European Enlightenment. Using Sarlo's own critical practice – a selection of Sarlo's key texts on Argentine literature written since 1980 – as a testing ground for her theoretical insights I argue in favour of re‐evaluating Sarlo's project as an aporetic discourse with positive implications for cultural politics that should be refined rather than abandoned.     

microRNA Detection in Blood,Urine, Semen,and Saliva Stains After Compromising Treatments

Evaluation of microRNA (miRNA) expression as a potential method for forensic body fluid identification has been the subject of investigation over the past several years. Because of their size and encapsulation within proteins and lipids, miRNAs are inherently less susceptible to degradation than other RNAs. In this work, blood, urine, semen, and saliva were exposed to environmental and chemical conditions mimicking sample compromise at the crime scene. For many treated samples, including 100% of blood samples, miRNAs remained detectable, comparable to the untreated control. Sample degradation varied by body fluid and treatment, with blood remarkably resistant, while semen and saliva are more susceptible to environmental insult. Body fluid identification using relative miRNA expression of blood and semen of the exposed samples was 100% and 94%, respectively. Given the overall robust results herein, the case is strengthened for the use of miRNAs as a molecular method for body fluid identification.     

The triad of scientific publication: Reading,writing, and reviewing

A workshop on scientific publication was presented at the 2013 ISFG conference by the author, who has written four widely used textbooks and 150 peer-reviewed articles and invited book chapters. 我国公用事业政府监管的文献述评

我国公用事业政府监管的研究总体上可分为两大领域:一是公用事业政府监管的基本理论;二是我国公用事业政府监管的实践研究。其中,公用事业政府监管的基本理论包括公用事业监管的内涵及其原因探究;公用事业政府监管的实践研究则包括"我国相关实践的系统总结与审视"、"国外相关实践经验的介绍与总结"、"构建科学高效的公用事业监管体系"三大部分。     

青少年成长的社会环境问题研究综述

转型期社会环境对青少年成长的影响深刻而复杂，学界对青少年成长的社会环境问题给予了高度关注。研究集中表现在社会环境的概念及要素、转型期青少年成长的社会环境的特征、转型期社会环境对青少年成长的影响、青少年成长的社会环境优化策略四个方面。青少年成长环境的本质属性和社会环境对青少年成长的影响机制，应是青少年成长的社会环境问题研究中有待深化的两个方面。     

持有、使用假币罪的法律问题探析

持有、使用假币罪在理论上存在诸多有争议的问题,需要对其进行研究。如持有、使用假币罪的概念需要重新界定;＂持有＂和＂使用＂行为是两种不同的表现形式,不应该放在一个罪名中规定,应取消持有假币罪,把它的部分内容归纳到其他罪名中;界定本罪的自然人犯罪主体的范围,增设单位犯罪主体。     

Staging incapacitation: the corporeal politics of hunger striking

This essay examines the ongoing hunger strikes at Guantánamo Bay detention camp. Through an analysis of news media compiled by journalists reporting on the timelines of the strikes, and various prisoner testimonials, I contextualize how hunger striking has been historically understood to be grounds for emancipation from, and resistance to, state violence and carceral techniques. I further present an analysis of the 1981 Irish death fast to consider how prisoners’ resistance to corporeal wholeness comes to function as a viable form of political self-expression. Focusing on both the state’s suppression of embodied protest as well as the weaponization of the prisoner’s body, I argue that although geopolitically different, in both the Guantánamo and Irish strikes, forms of corporeal incapacitation function as the mechanisms through which protest and discipline register.     

殖民地左翼文学刊物的坚持与溃败：《台湾新文学》（1935—1937）之文化生产研究

日据台湾最重要的左翼文学刊物《台湾新文学》诞生于日本殖民统治政策逐步收紧的20世纪30年代中后期,此时的政治话语论述要求文学活动同质化并参与政治翼赞,逼迫文学活动适应政权对文化的需要而作出转型。《台湾新文学》在殖民强权所制造的＂文化繁荣＂中无意助力,只能勉力维持,在有限的文化资源里坚持将左翼理念暗中传递,与读者达到声应一致的目的。通过将台湾20世纪30年代以左翼文学刊物发行为主的文化生产惨淡经营的现状与彼时中国大陆左翼文学生产盛况进行对比,可以体悟到《台湾新文学》作为殖民话语论述强势压迫下的左翼抵殖民能量的难能可贵,并对刊物所达到的左翼文学成就有新的认识。
