Save the kids: The need for regulation of cryptocurrency to protect adolescents from fraud

Cryptocurrency has become the new hot investment for young investors. Everyone wants to get in on the next cryptocurrency bubble, and there are those that want to exploit this excitement and exploit children. Influencers who have young audiences are pushing cryptocurrency investments onto their audiences and not fully educating them on the risks. To avoid this exploitation, The Securities and Exchange Commission should actively regulate decentralized exchanges where children purchase cryptocurrency, put age limit regulations into place, and require know your customer systems to verify that minors are not purchasing cryptocurrency without the consent of a guardian.

Post-9/11 International Artist Exchanges Between the United States and the Middle East

Since 9/11, the U.S. government has gradually increased its budget for cultural exchange to improve its estranged relationship with Middle Eastern ¹ 1. The Middle East, or the greater Middle Eastern region, is frequently labeled with distinctive titles. For example, the State Department identifies the region as the “Near East,” and “North Africa and the Middle East” is broadly utilized by the grant-related organization, the Foundation Center. Additionally, the term “Arab” refers to someone who uses the Arabic language and whose cultural background is Arabic. Thus, to promote consistency and to prevent unnecessary confusion, “the Middle East” will be utilized in this article. countries. However, U.S. private foundations have been reluctant to sponsor international artist exchanges with the region. This article describes the funding trends of both public and private sources; explains the consequences and coping strategies of U.S. arts presenters through a case study of the Kennedy Center's 2009 Arabesque Festival; and examines the effects of the new laws and regulations created after the terrorist attacks that seem to be influencing the activities of private funders.     

“讨价还价”的背后——对现行市场销售模式的法理批判

大陆青年学生在台湾的社会交往现状分析——基于大陆“交换生”群体的实证调查

青年学生逐步成为两岸交流的主要力量,本文通过实证调查发现,大陆“交换生”群体在台交流期间,形成了不同于以往的社会交往网络,“交换生”面对新的环境,开始接触台湾青年群体,使用当地的沟通工具,参与当地社会活动,这充分体现出大陆青年在台具有较强的“在地”适应性.但是,研究也发现,“交换生”群体在交流中呈现出相对封闭的交往网络,由于交流环境的限制,心理的群体认同与融合也有待进一步构建.因此,有必要推动建立两岸青年交流的持续化交往机制.     

论南部台湾社会结构组成要素、特征及形成背景

社会结构是一个社会的整体框架,社会结构的组成及其稳定与否影响到该社会的发展。对社会结构加以分析有利于更加全面深入地认识到该社会的全貌以及形成该面貌的主要因素,这对于我们解决具体问题又提供了另一条有效途径。一直以来,南部台湾都被视为两岸交流中的短板,也成为两岸未能突破交往瓶颈的主要因素之一。大陆应该从加强与南部地区的人员往来、提高南部地区在两岸交往中的地位和作用以及丰富自身文化软实力等三个面向入手,化解两岸交流中的地域难题。
