1950～1970年几个不同年代女性同期群婚姻及家庭生活管窥--基于人口学视角

从中国传统婚姻模式———普婚的视角切入,跟踪考察新中国成立以来1950年代、1960年代和1970年代几个不同年代初婚同期群女性的初婚持续时间及婚姻现况,得出的结论是：其一,新中国成立以来中国女性不仅一直沿袭普婚的传统婚姻模式,且初婚持续时间及婚姻关系保持不变的时间一般至终老,如果没有死亡这个不可抗力因素,60％左右的中国女性守望初婚并有偶者能够长达50年之久,且几个年代女性同期群均基本如此。其二,守望婚姻其实更本质的是守望家庭,对现阶段的老年女性而言,婚姻和家庭是唯一能够维持她们老年生活的基本保障。微薄的或几乎为零的养老金对她们而言,不如守望婚姻、守望家庭更可靠。养老是中国女性沿袭并不断维护传统婚姻模式的最重要的因素。即使在21世纪的头一二十年,这个基本事实仍然存在,这个基本判断仍然没有过时。     

Variation in the perception of desired qualities of police officers among trainees and senior police officers. Insights into the process and efficacy of police training

Police training is the process of imparting knowledge, skills, and values to police personnel. The study analyses a survey data on the perception of trainees and senior experienced officers regarding desired professional qualities in police officers. There is a high degree of congruence, in the assessment of values which are important for police, among the two groups. There are also differences among the two groups regarding the evaluation of the importance of interpersonal skills and human qualities. The study attempts to explain the similarities and the differences in perception by examining the conservative and innovative nature of police training, and the role of experience in developing an appreciation of human qualities. The study underlines the importance of police training as a mechanism to maintain the stability of operations in the organisation and its pivotal role in bringing about change in the police.     

选举的正反功能分析

选举的功能是指选举所产生的各种客观的、可能的影响。选举的正反功能相伴而生,但正功能永远是主要的。对选举正反功能的分析应从对公民和对国家两个角度来进行,其中,对公民的功能处于核心的位置,对国家的功能是为对公民的功能服务的,最终是为了维护并实现公民的各种利益。我们应该从完善选举技术和为选举营造和谐的社会环境两个方面来努力,以期更好地彰显选举的正功能、削减选举的反功能。     

论高职院校校园文化建设

校园文化建设是学校实施教育不可或缺的重要环节。在高职院校实现以服务为宗旨，以就业为导向，走产、学、研相结合的发展道路，为社会建设培养高素质的技能型专门人才的发展目标中，校园文化建设尤为重要。高职院校的校园文化建设除了应具有高等院校校园文化的内涵和共性外，还应具有其特殊的内涵，突出其“高职”特征。     

Gender Differences in the Impact of Family of Origin Violence on Perpetrators of Domestic Violence

This study examines the applicability of theories related to the intergenerational transmission of violence. Studies of the impact of violence in the family of origin on the propensity to engage in domestic violence as an adult have commonly focused on boys as potential perpetrators. This study examined the impact of previous violent victimization on males and females charged with domestic violence perpetration, finding previous violence significantly related to increased fear and hyper-vigilance to threat in adult relationships. In addition, the study explored the theoretical assertion that those who use violence in their homes are not also generally violent and found that the majority of individuals using violence, both males and females, were not violent outside the home.     

“I didn’t do it,but if I did I had a good reason”: Minimization,Denial, and Attributions of Blame Among Male and Female Domestic Violence Offenders

Women are increasingly being arrested and prosecuted for assaulting an intimate partner. Whereas extensive research has been conducted to identify the treatment needs of male domestic violence offenders, few studies have examined females convicted of the same charges. In the present study 1,267 men and 159 women convicted of intimate partner abuse were compared on scales assessing attributions of blame for their recent offense, minimization, denial, and socially desirable responding. Research with male offenders has identified these factors as important treatment targets, as they appear to influence an offenders risk for noncompliance and recidivism. The results of the study suggest that both male and female domestic violence offenders engage in socially desirable responding during court-ordered evaluations, that both attribute greater blame for the recent offense to their spouse/partner than they acknowledge for themselves, and that significant numbers of both genders deny the recent incident and/or minimize the severity of the offense. Areas for further research are highlighted along with a discussion of the implications of these findings for practitioners.     

Global and Neighborhood Attitudes Toward the Police: Differentiation by Race,Ethnicity and Type of Contact

This study focused on a series of hypotheses regarding residents’ attitudes toward the police: (1) residents’ attitudes toward the police are better represented by a two-dimensional model that differentiates global perceptions of the police from assessments of the police in the respondents’ neighborhood; (2) the structure of residents’ attitudes toward the police is different for Whites, African Americans, and Latinos; (3) direct experiences with the police in the respondents’ neighborhood will be more strongly associated with the respondents’ assessment of police in their neighborhood than global perceptions of the police; and (4) the influence of direct experiences with the police will be stronger for African Americans and Latinos than for Whites. Results based on structural equation modeling offer strong support for the need to differentiate between global and neighborhood perceptions of the police. The underlining measurement structure of attitudes toward the police was similar for Whites, African Americans, and Latinos. However, the relationship between global and neighborhood attitudes was stronger for African Americans and Latinos. Negative contact with the police was associated with both negative global and neighborhood assessments of the police. Non-negative contact was associated with positive neighborhood perceptions of the police; however, only when it occurred within the neighborhood. The influence of direct experiences with the police (both inside and outside the neighborhood) was similar for Whites, African Americans, and Latinos.

女性人口迁移在城市化进程中具有重要作用。但目前山西省农村女性人口的迁移与流动却不尽如人意。究其原因,既有观念的束缚,也有城市产业结构的制约。为加快女性人口的迁移和流动,大中城市要调整产业结构;制定地区发展战略要有性别意识,要充分考虑女性农村人口的迁移;要加强对农村女性的职业培训;要大力发展生产力,促进经济发展,为农村女性人口提供更多的城市就业机会。
