The formation of a school, whether feminist, critical, Marxist or other involves the establishment of a doctrine – literally
a teaching – and a group of students or followers – the disciples who form the discipline. No doctrine without disciples has
been the history of the schools and the formative principle of academic movements. They exist in the end to convert their
students, old to young, male to female, female to male, or female to female, or any other possible combination of orientations.
And conversion implies orthodoxy, institutionalization and hierarchy or at least a relation to hieros and hierarchy. This paper examines these themes in terms of the specific example of feminist legal studies and a curious
recent discursive event, a polemical exchange on the identity of the movement, the face of feminist legal studies, as viewed
through a eulogy and a challenge to that praise.

Four identity dimensions (Commitment Making, Identification with Commitment, Exploration in Depth, and Exploration in Breadth)
were used to derive identity statuses by means of cluster analysis in a sample of late adolescents. This strategy resulted
in both a qualitative refinement and a quantitative extension of Marcia's (1966) model. Five clusters were retained. Four
of those (the Achievement, Moratorium, Foreclosure, and Diffused Diffusion Cluster) bore a striking resemblance to Marcia's
original identity statuses in terms of their definition and their associations with criterion variables. Adolescents in the
fifth cluster, the Carefree Diffusion Cluster (low to moderate on both commitment dimensions and low on both exploration dimensions),
scored as high as the 2 high Commitment Making clusters (i.e., the Achievement and Foreclosure Cluster) on several indicators
of adjustment. Personality characteristics further differentiated these clusters in accordance with theory. The advantages
of expanding the identity status paradigm, through additional distinctions that pertain to both commitment and exploration,
are discussed and practical implications are outlined.

到20世纪80年代末,东南亚华人基本完成了从华侨社会向华人社会转变的过程,绝大多数都加入了当地国籍成为各国的公民.东南亚华人身份的转变过程由于受到冷战时期的一些时局因素的制约变得复杂而曲折,转变过程的完成意味着长期以来使用的"华侨"称呼已经不能反映实际情况,同时学术研究和实际工作中也应该做出一些相应的调整.华人成为东南亚国家的公民之后,在有些国家可以享有充分的社会政治权利,而在有些国家则受到不同程度的歧视,处于一种二等公民的地位.华人的政治社会地位如何往往并非掌握在华人自身手中,因为除新加坡之外,在各国华人都是少数民族. 相似文献

二战后,海外华侨华人社会经过几十年的变迁,在完成从"过客型"到"定居型"的转变后,因应政治身份的变化,在文化上也逐渐融人所在国社会.笔者认为海外华人的认同,主要是文化认同,目前还处在一个过渡时期,这一时期融合与冲突并行.同时,在全球化时代,存在加速认同与冲突的二律悖反的现象,即海外华侨华人的文化认同一方面有强化的趋势,另一方面,这一趋势则有可能导致潜在的冲突. 相似文献

Language is a major component of identification for individuals and nations, and linguistic difference has manifested itself as an enduring political issue. This continues in the age of globalization when the presence of a powerful global force, the English language, now less attached to a particular national entity, is viewed as intrusive among language groups that are, including in the most economically and technologically advanced countries. 聚众哄抢罪作为一个独立的罪名,其立法经历了一个较漫长的过程。该罪作为一种聚众犯罪,是必要共同犯罪,聚众者和积极参加者都构成犯罪。另一方面,聚众哄抢罪属于不纯正数额犯和开放性数额犯,对于数额较大和具有其他严重情节,二者居一,即可定罪。司法实践中,应注意区分本罪与抢夺罪、抢劫罪等罪的界限。对于多次实施聚众哄抢行为,但是每一次又都不构成犯罪的,对首要分子和积极参加者,应以多次实施行为的总数额计算,如果达到数额较大的标准,则构成犯罪。聚众哄抢罪以结果定罪,所以在犯罪过程中不存在犯罪预备、中止形态。在立法上,对聚众哄抢罪还应作进一步完善。 相似文献
