目前我国宏观经济运行态势与主要问题分析

目前我国宏观经济运行呈现出经济增长速度较快、物价增长较低、经济效益较好的局面,投资、出口活跃,拉动了经济的高速增长,工业企业销售利润增加,经济效益提高。物价水平略有上涨,基本保持稳定。但经济运行中仍存在较为突出的矛盾和问题不容忽视,工业生产耗能多、污染重,投资增长速度较快、产能过剩,贸易顺差超常增长等等,都是经济运行中的不稳定因素。面对宏观经济高位运行及不稳定因素的存在,我们仍应继续实行稳健的财政货币政策,加强宏观调控,保持经济持续稳定增长。     

发达国家性教育模式对中国学校性教育的启示

在全球化大背景下,学校的性教育问题引起世界各国越来越多的关注。作为性教育先行的欧洲发达国家,性教育模式也是多种多样。我国的学校性教育起步较晚,近年来,学校性教育的状况也令人堪忧。我国应当借鉴发达国家学校性教育的成果,从我国国情出发,探索出切实有效的学校性教育模式和可行性措施,这对于解决我国学校性教育现状的困境有着重要的实际意义。

严复对中国近现代教育的贡献和启示

严复在我国近现代教育史上开创了教育救国的道路,最早制定了德、智、体全面育人的方针,在文化上他突破"中体西用"的模式,主张从体用一致上全面学习西方的长处,达到救国图强的目的。严复是北京大学首任校长,在艰难条件下对维护北大生存和开创学科改革有过重大贡献。严复的教育思想和行为品格,对我国当代教育也有诸多启发。

系列案件“时空空白点”在侦查中的应用

系列案件中犯罪分子的反侦查意识和行为是普遍存在的,侦查与反侦查之间的较量更加激烈。"时空空白点"是与作案时空相对应而存在的,其存在具有必然性、相对性、稳定性和可利用性,特别是在系列案件中,"时空空白点"在很大程度上能够反映出犯罪分子所具备的特征,对于划定侦查范围、查找犯罪嫌疑人有着很大的作用。通过对系列案件中的"时空空白点"进行深入分析和利用,以此对犯罪嫌疑人的犯罪特征进行刻画,提高"时空空白点"在侦查破案中应用,从而拓展侦查破案的途径。     

New Methodism and Old: Churches,Police and State in Fiji, 2008–09

Abstract

Although Methodism has remained the dominant form of Christianity in Fiji, Methodist beliefs have been contested by a proliferation of Pentecostal/evangelical churches, but never more directly than by a new form of Methodism which flourished in the years up to 2009. This new church was called the New Methodist Church and, for a period in 2008 and 2009, the Fiji police forces were strongly encouraged to participate and finally to convert to it. This article is part of ongoing research that traces the alliances and challenges between Christianity and the state in Fiji.     

Student Weapon Possession and the “Fear and Victimization Hypothesis”: Unraveling the Temporal Order

Using longitudinal data from nearly 4,000 students across 113 public schools in Kentucky, we attempt to unravel the direction of the relationships between student weapon carrying and various objective and subjective school‐crime experiences, including victimization, perceived risk of school victimization, and fear of school victimization. Overall, we found little support for the idea that fear and victimization increase weapon carrying, controlling for other theoretically important predictors, including delinquent offending. While 7th‐grade victimization was modestly associated with increased non‐gun weapon carrying in 8th grade, high perceptions of individual victimization risk in 7th grade decreased both subsequent gun and non‐gun weapon carrying. Fear of criminal victimization in 7th grade did not predict either type of subsequent (8th‐grade) weapon carrying. Though fear, risk, and victimization were inconsistent predictors of gun and non‐gun weapon carrying, we found strong and consistent support for the effects of weapon carrying on subsequent fear, risk, victimization, and offending. However, contrary to the implications of fear and victimization hypotheses, both gun carrying and non‐gun weapon carrying in the 8th grade increased fear of school crime, perceived risk, and actual victimization in the 9th grade. Implications of these findings for the applicability of a “weapons” or “triggering” effect are discussed.     

How reliable is cloudsourcing? A review of articles in the technical media 2005–11

A review of articles in the technical media between 2005 and 3Q 2011 disclosed reports on 49 outages involving 20 cloudsourcing providers. Several of these were major events. Many caused difficulties for user-organisations’ staff. Some caused lengthy suspension of services by user-organisations to their customers. A number of them involved irretrievable loss of data. Many user-organisations have failed to risk-assess their use of cloudsourcing, and are exposing their businesses to unmanaged risks.     

死缓变更死刑相关立法问题研究

目前理论及实务界对死缓制度的关注始终集中在死缓裁量的法律适用,对死缓执行变更关注较少,《刑法修正案(八)》对《刑法》第50条作出了必要的修改,但是并未改变死缓变更死刑立即执行条件过苛的现状,围绕死缓执行变更法律适用的司法困惑依旧存在。改变"故意犯罪"作为死缓变更死刑立即执行的条件,完善相关问题立法成为趋势使然。
