Social Media and the Paradox of Fear: An Exploratory Study of Political Relationship Marketing Within South Wales

This paper explores the key challenges of social media use by politicians in relation to political relationship marketing. Utilising a case study of the online footprint left by Welsh politicians and their attitude towards social media based on three business based rationales – engagement, level of control, and return on investment – the paper offers an expanded conception of the perceptions and fears influencing the use of social media by politicians in terms of political relationship marketing. The article concludes with some critical thoughts regarding the understanding of relationship marketing principles by politicians.

多元化是经济体制变化的必然结果。随着经济利益的分化,政治利益与思想观念均呈现出多元化的倾向。多元化对于构建和谐社会既有有利的一面,也有不利的一面。能否构建和谐社会,关键在于这个和谐社会的走向是否与广大人民的利益要求相一致,是否与社会主义的要求相一致。     

Economic shocks and democratic consolidation: Historical evidence from party-level electoral volatility in France

The emergence of a stable party system is a central aspect of democratic consolidation. Building a novel historical dataset, we analyze how economic growth affected the party-level electoral volatility during the consolidation of the French democracy over the Third Republic (1870-1940). We document an asymmetric effect in that positive economic shocks produced electoral stability, while negative shocks had not the expected destabilizing effect. Moreover, a positive shock had a disproportionally stabilizing effect during economic prosperity, four times stronger than during an average economic conjuncture. As France experienced strong positive shocks over this period, our results imply that the party system consolidation may have been driven by a few exceptionally high growth episodes. We also find evidence suggesting that positive shocks developed voters’ support for institutionally stable parties.     

欧亚经济联盟内部与外部分工网络的基本特征及其影响因素分析

欧亚经济联盟作为一个经济一体化组织,在2015年成立之后获得了较快的发展。依照区域与全球生产分工网络的理论和社会网络分析法得出,在欧亚经济联盟内部生产分工方面,欧亚经济联盟已形成了以俄罗斯为核心、具有一定规模和深度的生产分工网络,但分工层次与水平不高,且成员国对联盟内部贸易依赖性相对较小。在联盟外部生产分工网络中,欧亚经济联盟仅仅在初级产品贸易网络中处于核心地位,在零部件、半成品与最终品贸易网络中仅处于半边缘或边缘地位,产业链分工水平较低,这是由各成员国的比较优势、要素禀赋与经济结构所决定的。分析表明,欧亚经济联盟的内部生产分工存在局限性,而分工地位与产业链水平的提升关键在于培育产业基础能力和增强产业国际竞争力,实现“一带一盟”对接则可以为欧亚经济联盟实现上述目标增添新的动力与活力。

Government approval in Italy: Political cycle,economic expectations and TV coverage

This paper analyses government approval in Italy – which has become a key aspect for electoral support in the new party system of the Second Republic – exploring the influence that TV coverage exerts on approval net of traditional accounts of government support. Relying on both aggregate time series and pooled individual-level surveys analyses, it is shown that communication has a sizable impact on government approval. The popularity of Centre-Left and Centre-Right governments is affected evenly by the economy but differently by the news coverage of their activity. People with lower political interest are the most reactive to news coverage of government performance.     

“情性”还是“性情”：中国诗歌价值取向的分野

中国诗论中“吟咏情性”与“吟咏性情”有着巨大的不同,标志着两种诗学理路。“吟咏情性”的主要内涵是“情”,是由“感物”而来的“感”情,与“性”的关系不大;而“吟咏性情”的主要内涵则是“性”,由“性”而来的“情”。早期理论以“情性论”为主,宋明以来则主要是“性情论”。“情性论”的“情”个体感性维度明显,“性情论”的“情”则理性色彩突出,从“情性”到“性情”的重心转移显示了中国诗论理性化的价值取向。要用“情性”与“性情”的双重视野来看待中国古代诗论中的“情”才较为全面。在这种双重视野下来审视中国的“抒情传统”,则会有不同的答案。     

政府在农业结构调整中的经济职责

农业生产规模小、利润少;市场调节具有一定的盲目性;农业结构调整需要信息服务和生产技术指导;进一步推进农业结构调整难等原因制约了农业产业结构的调整。因此,为确保农业产业结构调整的顺利进行,在农业结构调整中,政府必须履行宏观调控、规划指导、政策扶持、信息引导、科技提供、法制保障等经济职责。政府在履行上述经济职责时,要以全新的理念作指导;以农民增收为目标;以市场为导向;着力提高我国农业和农产品的市场竞争力。
