建设国际教育水平的现代警察大学之思考(一)

建设国际水平的现代警察大学既是一个理论问题,又是一个实践问题。关于对现代大学的思考,首先要理清现代大学的内涵及其基本要素。西方发达国家高等教育及大学制度对现代大学的建立,尤其是中国现代大学的建设与发展具有积极地启示和借鉴作用。     

福州乌山摩崖石刻所见的宋代赵氏宗室活动

福州城内三山鼎立乌山尤为著名,自唐代以来,不少名人墨客在此留下了琳琅满目的摩崖石刻,仅宋代的摩崖石刻现存就达35段,佚刻40段。南宋时期,随着西外宗正司迁入福州,乌山也留下了大量宗人活动的痕迹,从乌山摩崖石刻中我们可以窥见宋朝对宗人的管理、赵氏宗人避地福州的情况、西外宗正司的宗学情况等。     

Homosexuality and the Repression of Intellectuals in Fresa y chocolate and Máscaras

Abstract The aim of this article is to examine and compare how the repression of homosexuals and intellectuals is portrayed in two recent Cuban fictional narratives: the film, Fresa y chocolate (Strawberry and Chocolate) (Gutierrez Alea et al., 1993) and the detective novel, Mascaras (Masks) (Padura Fuentes Mascaras, Tusquets, Barcelona, 1997). It discusses how these narratives document the history of both these phenomena and evaluates how they might contribute to a better understanding of the process of fundamental social and cultural transformation which the Revolution is experiencing following the collapse of the Soviet Union.     

印度穆斯林：“反恐”阴影与发展困境

本文重点研讨两个方面的问题，其一是“反恐文化”阴影下的印度穆斯林，二是“桑奇报告”及印度穆斯林的发展问题。前者所关注的是“9·11事件”后国际上和印度国内形成的“反恐文化”，及这种阴影下的印度穆斯林在思想意识和行为方式上的变化；后者则关注印度政府对于穆斯林团体存在的困难和问题的关心、认识和政策。     

Role of Culture and Context: Ethical Issues in Research with Asian Americans and Immigrants in Intimate Violence

Ethical principles are often presented as universal, immutable rules. However, when conducting research with ethnic minority groups, such as Asian Americans and immigrants, ethical issues need to be placed within a sociocultural context as ethical responses are filtered through the specific value orientations and belief systems of the ethnic group under study. Further, when the group is a marginalized population, power dynamics complicate ethical principles of autonomy. The complexities are further accentuated with sensitive topics such as intimate violence or domestic violence. Consequently, ethical questions about autonomy, informed consent, confidentiality, limits to confidentiality, and protecting participants’ safety and reducing distress need to be at the forefront when planning intimate violence research. An overview of sociocultural context of Western biomedical ethics is presented and specific ethical issues that emerge when conducting intimate violence are discussed.     

中西文明互鉴中的三种知识汇通模式

明末清初耶稣会士来华所引发的知识汇通,是中西文明互鉴的客观需求和重要表现。中西文化交流过程中形成了三种知识汇通模式:“中学为本”“西学为本”和“中西学并举”。它们分别以“西学东源”“中学西源”和“中西学异源”学说为理论依据,在不同历史时期都曾发挥了主流作用。在中西文化交流频繁的当下,如何将中西知识实现恰如其分的对接,仍是一个十分现实的问题。明末清初以来形成的三种中西知识汇通模式或可提供一些借鉴。     

Designing for equitable civic engagement: Participatory design and discourse in contested spaces

A common theme of research on participatory democracy and citizen engagement centres on the need for empirical studies that conduct a deep exploration of the nuances and complexities of these processes. This article offers a distinct response to this need through an examination of two ethnographic case studies of a participatory budgeting process in a multilingual, highly diverse community in which Spanish-speaking Latino immigrants were involved. By analyzing participants discourse from the case studies, the findings highlight the risks and rewards of reframing participatory processes as design decisions rather than static procedures.     

浅议两汉时期的矫制（诏）现象

两汉时期,矫制(诏)现象频发,时代思潮、士大夫们昂扬的进取精神以及矫制(诏)无害法律制度是其成因。其中,矫制(诏)无害法律制度孕育于频发的矫制(诏)政治法律实践,并且成为矫制(诏)频发的制度保障。这个法律制度对汉以后中国传统法律制度的发展产生了深远的影响。     

西部开发:民族关系的变动及原因分析

本文从族际互动、国家行为、利益变动，对外开放等几个方面论述了西部开发给民族关系带来的影响，提出在开发中要注意处理宣传导向、预警机制、民族政策、文化冲突等几个方面的问题。     

论社会科学迁移中的文化安全问题

西方社会科学是随着资本主义发展而产生的一种地缘文化,是维护现代世界体系中处于霸权地位的西方中心国家利益的认知符号体系。它具有统治、制约边缘国家的性质。当西方社会科学来到我国,就有可能嬗变为意识形态,危及我国的文化安全和社会主义建设。我国应该构建立足于本土和社会公正的批判社会科学。
