利用足迹自动识别系统对现场足迹进行图像处理

针对现场足迹的特点,在足迹自动识别系统原理的基础上,分析研究影响足迹图象质量的各种因素,并就这些不同原因,给出有效的足迹图象处理方法。结果表明,利用足迹自动识别系统对现场足迹进行处理,可以得到较高质量的足迹图象。同时,相比较其他图象处理方法,该方法简单、方便,具有较好实用性和可操作性,从而提高了现场足迹的利用率。

论涉警公共危机事件中的媒体应对

新闻媒体作为涉警公共危机事件的重要参与者,在危机事件处置中存在积极和消极的双重作用。公安机关与媒体是合作而非对抗的关系、限制而非控制的关系、被监督与监督的关系,应加强两者的协调与合作,建立良性互动的关系。公安机关主要妥善利用新闻媒体的力量,坚持良性互动原则,充分发挥大众传媒的导向作用;坚持主导性原则,掌握信息传播的主导权;坚持信息公开原则,尊重公众知情权;遵循及时性原则,让真相走在谣言的前面。     

社会冲突事件的结构紧张理论分析

我国社会的深刻变革,引发了不同社会阶层之间以利益博弈为核心的各种社会矛盾。社会冲突事件的发生除了根本的利益博弈之外,还存在一种结构性的紧张状态,它一方面缘于社会结构自身的紧张;另一方面则是在利益博弈这一目标主导下的手段上的选择。     

韩国古代诗歌的大唐影响——杜甫与李达诗中的“马”意象

韩国古代＂三唐诗人＂致力于学习中国唐诗,努力将自己的诗风与唐诗接近,在唐代诗人中,杜甫的诗成为他们学习和模仿的典范。李达与杜甫的人生遭际类似,一生处于社会底层,抑郁不得志,他的《柳摠戎紫骝马歌》是赠与知己友人柳珩的诗.表达了一个远离于主流社会的局外人的悲哀。他借鉴了杜甫诗中的＂马＂意象,但又有所不同。杜甫在自己的作品中,通过＂马＂的形象映射自己的理想和抱负,而李达的诗中只是以一个叙事者的身份状物抒情,没有达到杜甫的意象高度,李达虽然模仿了唐诗,但并没有完全悟透其中滋味。本文试图通过一个侧面,揭示韩国古代三唐诗人在接受中国唐代诗歌中的得失。     

Arts Organizations and Branding: Creating a New Joint Brand for Three Arts Organizations

This article investigates brand architecture by analyzing stakeholder perceptions of brand images when a new joint brand is created for the existing brands of three arts organizations. The theoretical framework is based on previous literature on brand architecture and brand image. The empirical study is based on a quantitative, 418-respondent survey among stakeholders of these three arts organizations. The study makes two major theoretical contributions. First, the results show that the new joint brand can be endorsed by the existing sub-brands, contrary to brand-architecture literature. Second, even in the case of a new brand, stakeholders perceive the functional attributes as important.     

The Time Path of Legislative Party Switching and the Dynamics of Political Competition: The Italian Case (1996–2011)

Political competition is more realistically described as a dynamic process rather than as a series of static stages in which parties compete over policy and government formation. This paper focuses on legislative party switching as the main manifestation of this endogenously evolving process, linking individual switching behaviour to policy and office incentives that are assumed to evolve throughout the life of the entire legislature. Using a new data set tracking the timing of MPs’ changes in party affiliations between 1996 and 2011 in Italy, it is found that switching is mainly motivated by policy reasons and that it is more likely during government formation periods and budget negotiations. These results are a consequence of the interplay between MPs’ ambition and the alternation of key phases in the legislative cycle.     

Alain Badiou's Politics and the Problem of Social History

Abstract

This paper explores the plausibility of Alain Badiou's ahistorical theory of politics. By insisting that the events of egalitarian politics are radically subtracted from social and historical conditions Badiou imagines a form of political action that effectively comes out of nothing. However, in order to establish the very prospect of an event's occurrence Badiou is forced to ground the possibility of political intervention in his theory of "evental recurrence", which effectively enables the subjects of political action to draw on the consequences of a preceding event in order to act in the here and now. The paper argues that by introducing the social dimensions of evental recurrence it is possible to construct an alternative account of political action that resolves a number of inconsistencies in Badiou's otherwise miraculous vision of politics. Consequently, rather than a militant activist that comes out of nowhere, evental recurrence implies that the militants of political action are saturated in their immediate social and political circumstances and in the memory of past struggles.     

A Novel Forged Image Detection Method Using the Characteristics of Interpolation

Development of digital image‐editing programs has enabled us to be widely exposed to forged digital images surrounding us. Such forged images have been dispersed through the Internet, newspaper articles, and magazines, and in particular, the information contained in these unverified images happened to be regarded as true. As a result, the forged images provided wrong information for individuals and society, thus sometimes creating social issues. In order to solve such problems, this study was aimed to suggest the methods of identifying the veracity of forged images. In this way, it suggested re‐interpolation algorithm. Namely, the study re‐interpolated in identical arbitrary values both the interpolated and un‐interpolated regions based on the interpolation used a lot in forged, confirmed discrete fourier transform (DFT) characteristics of these two regions, and embodied a detection map for the final forged images, using the subtraction value between two regions in DFT characteristics.     

The Baku 2015 European Games as a national milestone of post-Soviet Azerbaijan

The Baku European Games, the first multi-sport mega-event held at a European level, was a major public relations undertaking by Azerbaijan. The games were framed by a trend involving large-scale sports events promoted by the Ilham Aliyev government, based on the profits of the second oil boom in the twenty-first century. The sports event served to internationally portray Azerbaijan as a rapidly developing country and in this way to increase national consciousness within the society, which was lacking a collective narrative in the post-Soviet era. Nonetheless, the downturn due to the fall of international oil prices negatively affected the impact of the sports mega-event. Moreover, the sports competition symbolized the government’s commitment to impose reasons of state and nation-building over social needs and political freedoms in Azerbaijan. This article is based on empirical fieldwork carried out in Baku in the months following the multi-sports event.
