入世对大学生政治思想的负面影响与马克思主义理论课改革

入世在有力促进我国各个领域积极变化的同时,也在我国大学生政治思想上造成了政治信念困惑、政治理想混乱、政治观念西化等负面影响.高校马克思主义理论课教学的弊端却使其对大学生政治思想的影响日渐衰微.只有加强马克思主义理论课改革力度,治愈自身的顽疾,提高教育教学质量,才能发挥出矫正大学生政治思想偏颇的应有功能.     

AFCC Think Tanks: Promoting Dialogue on Difficult Issues in Family Law*

This article examines three think tanks sponsored by the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts, which convened representatives of different disciplines, often with differing perspectives, to address policy and practice dilemmas in family law and dispute resolution. This essay was initially commissioned by the Nuffield Foundation, London, UK, as an Insight Article for its Family Justice Observatory, which aims to improve the use of data and research evidence in the family justice system in England and Wales. The think tank process is described and analyzed, identifying factors that created challenges and those that led to success.

公安高等院校大学生思想政治教育的重要目标之一,就是培养预备警察具备社会主义事业建设者和接班人所必需的思想道德素质,这内在地蕴涵了对预备警察职业道德素质方面的要求。把职业道德素质的培养作为公安高等院校大学生思想政治教育的重要任务,符合国家对人才素质的期望和毕业生个人职业定向的需要。公安高等院校大学生思想政治教育应在内涵方面注重警察职业道德素质的培养。     

Education for nonkilling creativity: a reconstructive–empowering approach

ABSTRACT

Paige (2002) affirmed that a ‘nonkilling society implies a disciplinary shift to nonkilling creativity’. Creativity is indispensable in the search for peaceful alternatives for the positive transformation of conflicts, inherent in human relationships. Creativity can help individuals to think and act peacefully, to find different alternatives to obstacles and problems, to face daily life challenges, and to be happier people. This article presents the Reconstructive–Empowering (REM) approach of peace education as a concrete proposal for implementing a nonkilling paradigm shift in education that facilitates the formation of a critical, active, creative, and peaceful nonkilling citizenship, capable of promoting social transformations toward a killing-free world.     

Insights into Selected Features of Pakistan’s Most Wanted Terrorists

This article attempts to provide insights into selected features of Pakistan’s most wanted terrorists using a dataset of 895 high-profile terrorists provided by the Counter Terrorism Wings of the Criminal Investigation Departments of regional police offices of Pakistan. It identifies spatial patterns of terrorist supply at subnational levels. The educational background of terrorists has also been analyzed. Noteworthy variations are observed in the supply of different types of terrorists across the geographical landscape of Pakistan. Findings also reveal that though terrorists are relatively more educated than the population group they emerge from, there is a higher probability of them emerging in districts with lower socio-economic performance.     

From intergovernmental to global: UNESCO’s response to globalization

Whilst there is an ever-growing literature on the economic and political aspects of ‘globalization,’ at present there are few studies analyzing how intergovernmental organizations have reacted to this phenomenon. This article aims to fill this gap by analyzing the response to globalization of UNESCO, one of the least studied organizations of the UN constellation. Addressing the global orientation of some of the current programs, this article shows how a recent re-evaluation of scientific humanism—the main philosophical framework contributing to the creation of UNESCO—has influenced both UNESCO’s self-understanding and its understanding of globalization. Scientific humanism is a philosophical utopia that couples the advance of scientific knowledge with the diffusion of a common philosophical framework and promotes a universal system of education in order to establish a global community. Based on the philosophical appeal of a culture of peace based on science, humanism and human rights, UNESCO’s representation of globalization represents an intriguing example of how our global future may be conceived and, to some extent, realized.

全球化进程中海外华文教育的含义嬗变及其历史分期——以东南亚地区为例

迄今,海外华文教育已有几百年的历史,期间经历了从华侨教育向华文教育的转变.在全球化进程不断加速发展的今天,海外华文教育的含义发生了嬗变,其内涵不断丰富,外延随之扩大.关于海外华文教育的历史,许多学者多从发展兴衰的角度进行分期,笔者认为从认同转换的角度进行分期,更能体现教育的本质特征和东南亚的地区特征.     

微博文化之于公安院校职业价值观教育的困境与路径选择

公安院校学生的职业价值观培育不仅直接决定他们的学习态度和发展方向,而且也影响其对未来警察职业生涯的适应与发展。面对微博文化这一全新的网络文化形态,既要借鉴其在警察职业价值观教育方面的合理性价值,又要有效规避其内在价值冲突对警察职业价值观教育所产生的负面影响,探寻公安院校职业价值观教育的新思维、新路径。     

公安成人函授教育刍议——以黑龙江公安警官职业学院函授教育工作为范例简

公安成人函授教育不仅从微观上成为广大干警继续学习、成长和进步的桥梁与渠道,而且从宏观上对于改变公安队伍的知识结构,全面提升广大干警的专业技能以及公安队伍的整体素质和战斗力具有十分重要的意义.当前,公安成人函授教育面临新的挑战,例如,教育理念的滞后、生源的逐年萎缩、工学矛盾的日渐突出、现代远程教育的冲击、信息技术的迅猛发展等都对公安函授教育提出了更高的要求.笔者以黑龙江公安警官职业学院函授教育工作为范例,重点从理念更新、队伍建设、技术运用、规则完善、提升学员能力等视角来阐述如何通过修炼“内功”更好地开展公安函授教育.
