"三个代表"重要思想是一个科学的理论体系,它包含了丰富而深刻的马克思主义哲学原理."一切从实际出发,实事求是"是"三个代表"重要思想形成和提出的哲学基础;唯物史观是"三个代表"重要思想的立论基石."三个代表"重要思想的理论体系蕴含着丰富的辩证法思想.我们应该而且能够从中学到马克思主义活的哲学.     

试论刘勰的史学观——以《史传》对司马迁和《史记》的评价为中心

刘勰在<文心雕龙·史传>中,从分析<史记>体例入手,高度评价<史记>"虽殊古式,而得事序",反映出其撰史"得事序"的基本要求.一方面,刘勰认同我国古代史家秉笔直书的传统,称赞了司马迁<史记>的"实录无隐",并从理论上将其上升为撰史的原则;但另一方面,刘勰深受传统儒家思想的影响,主张"依经"、"附圣"、"尊贤隐讳",这又使他的"直笔"原则大打折扣.

“三个代表”重要思想是马克思主义哲学特别是历史唯物主义在当代中国的创造性运用和发展,它以对人类社会发展基本规律所作的新的诠释和概括,丰富和发展了历史唯物主义的生产力最终动因论、社会文明论、群众史观以及社会全面进步和人的全面发展的理论。     

Von einem liberalen zu einem post‐liberalen Wohlfahrtsstaat: der Wandel der gewerkschaftlichen Sozialpolitik in der Schweiz

The article reconstructs the development of the Swiss welfare state against the background of the transformation of trade unions' social policy activities. It detects a sequence of trade unions' activities in social policy which runs uniformly to the development of the welfare state. While in the liberal phase of the Swiss welfare state trade unions were sceptical of national social policy and preferred mutual insurance and collective bargaining, in its post‐liberal phase they have become proponents of national social policy legislation.

Abstract

Imperialism is subject to a seemingly ever-extending conceptual elasticity. The primary concern of this article is with the adequacy of the concept of imperialism for Marxism. It is contended that a proper understanding of the concept derives from Marxian economic analysis of capitalism. Not from oblique notions of asymmetric power of states within the international order.

‘Were women present at the demographic transition?’ A question revisited

In this contribution I argue that the future of historical demography has much to gain from the incorporation of women and gender into research on the (first) fertility decline in the Western world. Gender, as an explanatory concept, can help construct more complex models for fertility decline in which economic, social and cultural explanations can be connected and which are more sensitive to diversity, to historical context, and to contingency. By perceiving men and women as gendered identities who may have different interests in reproductive outcomes, we will not only restore the necessary agency to historical actors, but we will also see more clearly how many important questions on the fertility decline still remain unanswered.
