党的现代化与国家现代化密切相关,现代革命需要现代政党来领导;领导国家与社会现代化建设的政党,必须是一个现代化政党。从历史发展看,是历史选择了中国共产党,历史的试错法也证明了共产党能够救中国。中国共产党的诞生,是现代国家意识觉醒、民族独立、主权独立呼唤现代政党的产物;新中国成立,为我国现代化建设奠定了基础;社会主义革命与社会主义改造,为我国现代化建设指明了方向。改革开放以前,党建国家、党治国家,以党的建设、党的领导推动国家现代化建设,是我国政党建设与国家建设的突出特点。改革开放以后,党的建设与国家建设呈现出良性互动关系。当前乃至将来一段时间,党的建设要适应社会主义现代化建设的要求,从而进一步实现党的现代化。  相似文献

在理论认识上,马克思和恩格斯对于哲学的本质和哲学基本问题产生的根源,对于实证科学兴起和唯物史观确立后哲学的命运,有一系列重要论述,而这些论述与学术界的主流见解明显不同。这种认识上的差别也反映在社会实践上,主要表现是,唯物主义历史观未能始终如一地得到贯彻,辩证法有时也被唯心主义地运用。有鉴于此,我们应当在重温和深入研究马克思主义创始人有关论述的基础上,重新认识"哲学",科学理解和实践"马克思主义哲学"。  相似文献

This essay argues for a renewed form of critique based upon a non-deflationary realist and materialist understanding of the nature of objects. Such an understanding is set against the deflationary conception of materiality common nowadays, one that sees ‘signs’ in the place of powerful objects (exemplars, charms, fetishes), adjudicates against the latter as mere relics of the past and can only conceive of material relations and causality in representational terms, as co-relative to our self-positing powers. Such a conception is responsible for our present inability to think the role of radical claims, thick attachments and religious objects in modern secular societies. The argument is developed from within a phenomenological tradition that includes Hegelo-Marxian themes and connects them with more and less recent insights from anthropology and elsewhere concerning value and objectification in modern times.

This paper describes the multidisciplinary project Founders and Survivors: Australian Life Courses in Historical Context. Individual life courses, families and generations through the nineteenth and twentieth centuries are being reconstituted from a wide range of data including convict records; birth, death and marriage registrations; and World War I service records. The project will result in a longitudinal study of Australian settlement, the long-run effects of forced labour and emigration on health and survival, family formation, intergenerational morbidity and mortality, and social and geographic mobility.  相似文献

Compared to China and Japan, family and population studies of pre-modern Korea have not been widely available to scholars outside Korea. As a necessary step to increase scholarship in Korean historical demography, we introduce major historical materials currently available in Korea as useful for historical studies, summarizing demographic variables provided, the type of population covered, and the historical period referred in those historical materials. In particular, we focus on genealogies and household registers that provide demographic information of Korean population before the 20th century. We describe major features of those Korean materials as demographic sources, highlighting similarities and differences as compared to corresponding Chinese historical materials. Korean historical data showing their unique features, along with comparability with other East Asian data, have potential to expand the field of historical demography in East Asia.  相似文献

知识分子是一个众说纷纭的话题.既涉及到概念本身的界定厘清,又关联着知识分子阶层的一言一行.发展中国,更离不开绵延数千年的文化传统,加之近几十年历史的风云变幻、政策更迭,知识分子研究越加莫衷一是.但也充分表明了知识分子在一个社会中是何其重要,百年来跌宕起伏的中华民族复兴史诗即是明证.而青年知识分子在这一历程中所展现的决心、意志和能力,必将使知识分子的内涵再添亮色.当代青年知识分子既承继先驱精英所遗留的宝贵财富,又抹不去“知识”赋予人们的天然印记,更面临着遽然变化的世情、国情、党情,何去何从便成了一个至关重要的问题.因此,通过把握知识分子内涵,认清青年知识分子所承担的历史使命和历史责任,从而塑造知识分子的全新形象,是他们这一代终究绕不开的现实命题和未竟之任.  相似文献

This thematic analysis examines the applicability of Gustavo Correa's constructs of horizontal and vertical honour with regard to prestige as reflected in 21 statements by Osama Bin Laden (OBL) between 2002 and 2008. The relevance of Correa's theory pivots upon whether the individual is considered as the primary locus of honour, as Correa seemed to imply. There was limited support and substantial disconfirming evidence under this condition. Correa's theory appears more applicable to honour when the Ummah rather than OBL's person is considered as the primary locus of honour, with the individual's prestige a derivative of group membership. Under this condition, supported hypotheses derived from the theory include honour being rooted in divinity; vertical and horizontal aspects of honour being mutually constitutive; vertical honour being established with the creation of the Ummah through rank (insofar as the Ummah is presumed precedent above all non-Muslims), competition (including warfare) and functioning as an ideology hierarchically differentiating Muslims from non-Muslims; horizontal honour being gendered (with domination by non-Muslims situating the Ummah in a feminised position). A notable limitation of the theory is that it does not predict or account for the geospatial reification of group honour, whereby the establishment, defence, violation and exoneration of Islamic honour is discussed in terms of establishment, defence, invasion and forceful expulsion of non-Muslims from Islamic territory. Implications of honour are discussed with regard to the Islamist geospatial dichotomy of Islamic versus non-Islamic territories, efforts to encourage disengagement from terrorism and de-radicalisation within non-Islamic settings, legitimisation of complex phenomena such as jihad or suicide bombing according to frameworks of martyrdom and realistic efforts to win hearts and minds within the Islamic world.  相似文献
