The Homeopathic Image,or, Trauma,Intimacy and Poetry

Abstract

The concept of trauma has recently expanded its reach to include what otherwise might be understood as intimate experience. This overextension represents a threat to our ability to conceptualize intimate experiences, hence to use concepts to engage in intimate communication. An analysis of Wallace Stevens' poem "The Auroras of Autumn", demonstrates how poetry provides a supplemental vehicle for the communication of intimate experiences. Poetry is therefore characterized as an essential element in ethical life.     

论日本文学“俳谐诗”文化范式的禅学情韵

日本文化推崇禅宗的“山水真如”的境界,而禅宗文化又观照着日本的俳句、汉文学、儒学、绘画、庭园建筑、花道等诸多艺术苑囿。日本的古典短诗是由17字音组成,原称俳谐。其俳句较多地采取象征和比喻手法,崇尚简洁、含蓄、雅淡。比和歌更为精练。然松尾芭蕉以其孤独的心境,到大自然中去寻找对应物,以心灵与之交流,表现出自然、真诚的生命性灵。由此,芭蕉的俳句也因其境界的幽雅、闲寂、清苦而在日本文学界享有盛誉。     

“白话”特性与“格律”建设——论新月派格律探索中的语言问题

新诗音韵美的建设是新诗发展尚未解决的重要问题。通过对新月派的新诗格律化的探索进行分析,发现无论是格律理论主张的提出,还是格律实践,无论是对于西文诗格律形式的借鉴,还是处理音韵和意蕴的关系,白话语言特性都起着决定性的制约作用,可见新诗的格律建设必须建立在对于白话语言特性的分析和研究基础上。这一结论的揭示对于认识新诗的发展规律和动向具有重要意义。     

From Sore Throats to Greenland: Howard Brenton’s Utopian Plays

British playwright Howard Brenton once wrote, “There is an infinite variety of ways of making theatre, but only one theme which, inevitably, Aeschylus was onto—it’s simply ‘how can we live justly?’” Brenton’s entire oeuvre reflects his struggle to answer this basic question but he has specifically characterized three of his plays as Utopian. These are Sore Throats, Bloody Poetry, and Greenland. The plays comprise a journey which begins, in the playwright’s words, “far from human dignity and peace” and ends 700 years from now with a vision of Brenton’s hopes for the future: “how I hope my children, or my children’s children’s children, will live and think.” The works explore the nature of love, individual relationships, and sexual roles as these relate to issues of power and manipulation. The corrupting power of money, and English complacency and acquiescence, are additional major themes. Finally, they all confront the question of human responsibility and its relationship to the individual and to society. Ultimately, they offer us an unmerciful look at the worst of human nature and a liberating vision of the good we are capable of achieving.     

论新诗的语言意识与汉语诗性智慧

新诗语言问题的症结,主要在汉语诗性的失落。从诗歌革新到建设,几乎都尚未自觉进入现代汉诗语言艺术视阈,诗坛领军人物的某些观点是有负面影响的,需要我们对新诗意识进行反思,重新认识新诗。新诗的汉语形式本体意识的确立,旨在汉语诗性智慧的开发,并立足“源头活水”,激活和拓展汉语表现的崭新空间,达到现代生命诗意的本真实现。     

论《浙西六家诗钞》的诗学倾向

《浙西六家诗钞》是一部清代道光年间刊刻的选辑浙西六位名家诗作的清诗选本。选家吴应和和马洵在该选本中通过序跋、小传、评点等形式表达了宗宋为主、兼采唐诗的诗学倾向,具体体现于选家对＂浙西六家＂的评价、对具体诗家诗作的点评以及时人对钱载诗风的不同解读三个方面。     

颐和园乾隆《西师诗》碑的意义和价值初探

颐和园乾隆皇帝御制"西师诗"碑文刻于乾隆二十三年(1758年),目前放置于万寿山前山的清华轩的碑亭中,主要内容为从康熙皇帝至乾隆皇帝为了国家的统一,边疆的稳定而平定准噶尔的全过程,它是研究清代西北边疆和民族关系极为重要的历史资料。"西师诗"的特点及价值表现在它是以诗证史、诗史互映,被认为开创了清代边塞诗的先河。《西师诗》《平定准噶尔勒铭伊犁之碑》《平定准噶尔后勒铭伊犁之碑》和《万寿山五百罗汉堂记》刻于同一块碑上,这在全国是独一无二的,具有唯一性。     

朝鲜朝妓女诗人汉诗的对话功能

朝鲜朝妓女诗人是一个特殊的群体。她们过的是迎来送往的生活，周围的人不免充满流动、不确定性，因此她们的诗歌大多是与处于主流文化的仕宦文人唱和而来。唱和本身就是交流，这种唱和一方面使她们掌握了更多的对话机会，另一方面在当时的朝鲜也是一种社交礼仪，以诗作为对话的工具，是这些妓女诗人不得不的选择，她们写诗不是为了炫才，而主要在于表情，是期待着对方对自己的这份表白的回应，所以她们的诗直接生动，努力发挥着诗的对话功能。     

公刘活动区域考略

《诗经·公刘》详细叙述了周人先祖公刘带领周民迁都的史实。自《毛传》以来,学者多认为迁都地点是由邰到豳,邰、豳两地都在陕西境内。而现在位于陇东地区的庆阳,亦有不、公刘遗迹。由此,本文试就公刘的活动区域,尤其是其在庆阳地区的活动加以考证。
