对云南警官学院开展本科生校际交流工作的初步构想

高校本科生校际交流是人才培养的一种模式,日益受到世界各国的重视。云南警官学院在本科生校际交流方面需要转变观念,不仅做好请进来的工作,更要做好走出去的工作。通过在学习交流、文化交流和科研交流三个方面签订各种校际交流协议,开展多层次、多形式本科生校际交流,创新教学模式,既让在校本科生受益无穷,又可以提高学院的教科研水平和知名度。     

提高公安消防院校教育和管理水平的对策

随着部队院校高等教育体制的改革,对公安消防院校提高教育和管理水平提出了严峻的挑战。探索消防学校校改革与发展的思路和对策,突出办学特色,创新发展模式,显得十分紧迫。本文立足当前我国公安消防学校改革和发展的背景,结合国内外先进的教育和管理模式,剖析当前教育和管理工作中存在的薄弱环节,提出具体对策。     

人性视野下思想政治教育的反思

人有自然人性和社会人性两种属性。自然人性先天形成,社会人性后天习得,是人特殊本质的反映。传统思想政治教育过于偏重社会人性,忽略自然人性。遵循人性规律开展思想政治教育,就要双管齐下,既要重视社会人性,也要挖掘自然人性孕育的巨大能量。     

以学生接受为根本的隐性思想政治教育研究初探

接受理论在国内的应用与研究,给思想政治教育工作带来许多新的启示,尤其是在教育实践中的隐性思想政治教育中。从影响大学生的思想意识产生发展的社会因素的角度出发,对隐性教育法的方式进行概括,即从思想政治教育工作与社会大环境影响因素相结合的潜隐方式、与小环境相结合的潜隐方式以及与教育者人格相结合的潜隐方式这三个层面对以学生接受为根本的隐性教育的方式进行概括和阐述。     

大学生劳动维权教育模式的构建研究

目前,我国对大学生劳动维权教育的研究或论述很少,我国高校也并没有形成系统的劳动维权教育模式。大学生主要是通过高校的公共必修课的课程了解劳动保障法规。但是,高校的公共必修课的课程课程中法律基础部分涉及到劳动法的内容极少,缺乏针对性,无法达到劳动维权教育的目的。因此,帮助大学新生了解亟需掌握的劳动法律知识,培养我国当前大学生劳动维权教育模式,劳动维权意识是有效开展大学生劳动维权教育的基本途径。     

谈治安调解实践及法律疏失

公安执法中治安调解被大量适用,但是治安调解范围把握不准确、程序不严谨、调解方式方法简单粗放、调解案卷不规范的情况比较普遍。出现这些情况的主要原因在于有关治安调解的规范性文件存在疏失,主要表现在调解的适用情形、基本程序、文书制作、起算时间等方面的规定过于模糊和粗放,导致警察自由裁量权过大,调解质量不高。因此,应当主要从修订法律和提高警察调解能力等方面提高治安调解水平。     

Improving neighborhood quality: A hierarchy of needs

Abstract

A sample of 306 residents of New Jersey stratified by type of neighborhood was gathered in order to measure the association of residents’ ratings of neighborhood quality with neighborhood attributes and residents’ characteristics. Poor neighborhood quality was strongly associated with crime/vandalism and physical decay, as well as with mistrust of authority, negative emotions, pessimism, and a lack of sense of mastery of the environment.

The policy implications of these findings are important. First, improving schools, controlling locally unwanted land uses, and improving other neighborhood conditions will help improve neighborhood quality only if crime and blight are controlled. Second, many residents of poor and fair quality neighborhoods mistrust authority, including the local officials and potential investors who will spearhead neighborhood redevelopment. This destructive form of mistrust must be addressed.

Conviviality,ego, team and theme behavior in transrational peace education

ABSTRACT

The Innsbruck School of Peace Studies is known for its innovative academic teaching methods under the title Transrational Peace Philosophy. This essay introduces the epistemological fundament of this approach to peace education. It presents the didactic principles for its Strategic Capacity and Relationship Building, combined with Strategic Leadership Training. They are based on the conviviality of students and a curriculum that follows the stages of groups’ task behavior and individual learning by `peeling the onion´ of the Ego. It describes how the didactics are designed for the international, intercultural, interreligious and interdisciplinary groups of students. It demonstrates the five stages of Ego, Team and Theme Behavior during a semester and how the curriculum places courses for best learning results. It discusses the main presumptions on convivial learning processes for academics. The focus is on students who want to work later in a broader field of conflict transformation.     

Introduction: Unfolding transrational potential

ABSTRACT

This article presents peace education as a process of unfolding potential for peace and conflict transformation. It discusses how the different contributions to this special issue respond to challenges posed by a transrational understanding of peace education that engages with productive tensions present in research and practice. In this sense, the article asks how transrational perspectives can contribute to further understand and engage with these tensions through embracing complexity, contradictions and paradoxes as a field of transformative potentials. Finally, the article presents the objective of this special issue as exploring diverse ways in which transrational perspectives inform peace education - and are informed by it - in the challenging endeavor to facilitate the unfolding of both personal and collective potentials available for peace and conflict transformation.
