Entrepreneurial citizenship in urban regeneration in the Netherlands

In the Netherlands, active citizenship in the context of urban regeneration of deprived neighbourhoods seems to have evolved into ‘entrepreneurial citizenship’. The concept of entrepreneurial citizenship combines top-down and bottom-up elements. National and/or local governments promote an ideal citizen with entrepreneurship skills and competencies to create more responsible and entrepreneurial citizens’ participation in government-initiated arrangements. At the same time, bottom-up behavioural practices from citizens who demand more opportunities to innovatively apply assets, entrepreneurial skills, strategies and collaboration with other stakeholders are initiated to achieve their goals and create societal-added value. The aim of this paper is to better understand the origins of ‘entrepreneurial citizenship’, and its meaning in the Dutch context of urban regeneration. To do this, we will review the relevant international literature and combine insights from studies on governance, active citizenship, social and community entrepreneurship and urban neighbourhoods. We will also analyse how entrepreneurial citizenship can be locally observed in the Netherlands as reported in the literature.     

A Primer on Problem-Based Learning for International Relations Courses

In recent years advocates of educational reform have encouraged and demanded changes in public education at all levels. A teaching method called active learning addresses many such concerns, promising several advantages to both teachers and students. One version of active learning is called problem-based learning (PBL). PBL is a pedagogically sound, scholastically beneficial, and socially desirable response to concerns about educational reform. According to recent research, PBL is the most effective technique for students to learn, apply, integrate, and retain information. Many students also prefer to learn in this style. Many teachers will find PBL a valuable alternative to current teaching practices. This essay is a brief primer on PBL techniques and resources. Abridged sections survey the structure and process of PBL, discuss the role of teacher as facilitator, describe PBL 'in action' in my courses, and address implementation.

论合同自由原则与合同正义原则的统一性

自由、公平是保障交易活动正常进行不可缺少的要素。合同法作为规范市场经济活动的法则必 须将合同自由与合同正义有机地统一起来,才能维护正常的市场交易活动。合同自由原则是维 持自由竞争的基础,合同正义原则是自由竞争的必要限制,只有将当事人的合意与上升为法律的 国家意志有机统一,体现法律效力,才能践行真正的合同自由。中国对两个原则统一的全面认识 体现在新制定的合同法上:既集中体现了合同自由的精神实质,又始终贯穿了合同正义的要旨。 但还应及时修正个别条款中不能科学体现两个原则的不足,才能有效促进市场经济交易的正常 发展。     

用等电聚焦法同步检测血浆类粘蛋白ORM_1亚型和Gc亚型

作者应用等电聚焦加免疫印迹技术，样品经过神经氨酸酶的预处理，首次建立了同步检测血浆ORM1亚型和Gc亚型的分型方法。本法累计个人识别机率为0．8063，累计非父排除率为0．4837。是同步电泳分型中鉴别机率较高的一种。     

Gc、Tf和C_3表型的同步检测

血清蛋白多态性的同步检测可节省检材、简化操作步骤、省时省力.本文用醋酸纤维素薄膜电泳免疫固定法同步检测血清型特异成份(Group-Specific component,Gc)、转铁蛋白(Transferrin,Tf)和补体第三成份(Complment 3,C_3)的表型,调查了成都地区汉族116名无亲缘关系的健康献血员的表型频率,现将结果报导如下:

能动司法与大调解不仅是具有我国特色的创新理念,更是符合国情的当务之急。有必要在认识其内涵的基础上,明确其现实意义,并通过相关主体的努力予以有效落实,同时运用法治理念对其加以限制以免其偏离正确的发展轨迹。     

土地承包经营权抵押的制度“瓶颈”与制度创新

土地承包经营权抵押禁止的制度安排严重束缚了农地的融资功能。由地方政府推动的各种抵押试点探索虽具有积极意义，但都走不出“假抵押”、“变相抵押”怪圈，这不但增加了交易成本，且加大了政府自身的市场风险。解决问题的前提在于在城乡统筹和城乡社会保险均等化前提下通过立法重构土地承包经营权抵押制度，将土地承包经营权永久化、物权化。同时应当允许成渝两地城乡统筹实验区率先逐步展开土地承包经营权抵押试验，司法也应当区分情况，审慎回应各地的抵押试点。
