公示语的汉英翻译原则及翻译策略——以南宁市公示语英译为例

公示语是公开面对公众的标识语、提示语、指示语、警示语的统称。它是一种常见于公共场所的实用性文体，其目的在于把各种必要的、有用的信息传达给公众，以实现其相应的应用示意功能。翻译公示语是为了用目的语有效地传递源语信息，使公示语译文实现与源语同样的功能和目的。因此，公示语翻译是否规范非常重要，它关系到译文能否准确地传递源语信息、是否会影响对外交流、甚至是否会影响一个城市甚至国家的形象。本文以南宁市公示语英译为例，探讨德国功能派翻译理论的目的论对公示语英译的理论指导意义及公示语翻译策略。

近年来，我国发生了多起侵犯老字号正当权利的案件，文章分析了其发生的原因及危害后果，指出人们对商号与企业名称法律关系的误解，提出在现有的法律制度框架下老字号企业维护自己权利的途径。     

社区公共服务中政府职能转变的动因分析——以北京市社区体育服务发展为例

现代政府职能的定位与转变的逻辑起点是有限政府假设,政府行使公共权力要以对公共利益的保障为前提。在现实中,政府的职能设定与转变会受到多种动力因素主导,而非单纯出于对公共权力的依赖。在社区公共服务领域,政府的职责与功能正在从传统的管制定位向服务定位的方向转变。以北京市社区体育服务管理为例,政府职能在社区公共服务领域中所发生的转变行为有其内在及外在的进行动力因素,促进政府在社区管理创新过程中应实施有利于社会发展效率与公平的政府职能转变。

在高校共青团组织中开展品牌创建工作是新形势下加强和改进共青团工作的创新之举。当前高校基层团组织在开展品牌创建方面存在着一些问题和不足:品牌活动建设缺乏个性,创新不够;不注重与学科专业结合,专业特色不明显;疏于活动宣传,影响力不足;缺乏有效总结,未能建立长效机制。在品牌创建工作实践中,高校基层团组织应当遵循导向性、创新性、实效性、系统性和可持续性原则,不断转变思想观念,强化品牌意识;善于挖掘整合品牌资源,凝练打造特色品牌项目;加强管理,确保品牌活动持久深入开展;加大投入,为品牌创建打下坚实的物质基础;注重宣传,不断提升品牌活动的形象和影响力。     

Foreign Debt and Literary Credit: Pablo Neruda and Walt Whitman

The article draws in relief how translators carry with them cultural and ideological horizons that necessarily imbue their literary production with distinctly situated historical, political, and personal dimensions. It does so first by examining how The New York Times 's translation of Pablo Neruda's 1972 address to the PEN Club reframes (or distorts) his views on political and literary issues ranging from the negotiation of the Chilean national debt to his literary indebtedness to Walt Whitman, and then by examining how Neruda's 1955 translation of Whitman's 'Salut Au Monde!', refashions and relocates Whitman's work, imbuing it with a communist ethos consistent with Neruda's own.     

我国公共场所英语公示语问题与对策浅探

随着全球化的不断发展,到中国工作和生活的外籍人士越来越多,英语在中国的使用范围逐步扩大。在城市公共场所、热门旅游景点中,中英双语公示语越来越普遍。随着双语公示语的增多,各种英语语法语用错误和不规范现象大量出现,极大地影响了我国的国际形象。详细分析我国英语公示语的主要错误形式及其产生的原因,并提出解决问题的对策和建议。     

ONE TITLE,TWO LANGUAGES: INVESTIGAT ING THE TREND OF PUBLISHING ADULT NON-FICTION TITLES IN ENGLISH AND AFRIKAANS DURING 2010–2014 IN THE SOUTH AFRICAN TRADE MARKET

ABSTRACT

This article investigates the publication of titles in english and afrikaans (one title published in two languages) by looking specifically at three publishers: LAPA Uitgewers, jacana media and NB Publishers. Furthermore, the article examines why some books are more likely to be published bilingually than others in the sector of trade non-fiction for adults specifically; this excludes children's literature as well as titles in the religious trade sector. Bilingual publications from the period 2010–2014 are investigated for the article in order to examine this phenomenon over a relatively recent period of time. the research determines what the reasons are for publishers to publish in both languages, how the decision-making process takes place, and whether the timing of publishing bilingual titles plays a significant role in their publishing strategy. By investigating the reasons publishers use to make their decisions, the possible future of this trend is predicted. this information was collected through an investigation of available literature and also through interviews with key role players at the publishing houses.     

Protest Diffusion and Cultural Resonance in the 2011 Protest Wave

The 2011 protest wave, encompassing the Arab Spring revolutions, the Indignados movement in Spain and Greece, and the Occupy Wall Street movement has often been described as a new global protest cycle. However, the dynamics of diffusion suggest a more complex picture. Transmission of protest frames and repertoires from one country and cultural region to another was quite slow and tortuous. Moreover, adoption of the new ideas and practices of protest spawned by the protest wave of 2011 involved laborious dynamics of cultural translation and domestication. This situation points to the continuing importance of local protest cultures and cultural contexts, in addition to channels of transmission, even in an era of instantaneous communication technologies.     

论清末法政翻译的发展历程

清末，随着西学东渐，大规模的翻译工作开展起来，随着国人对西学的认识从“器物”深入到“制度”，在社会的现实需要下，清末的法政翻译逐步发展起来，并取得了丰硕的成果。从海防时期到洋务运动，法政翻译缓慢起步，从维新变法到清末修律再到预备立宪，法政翻译进入迅速发展阶段。从起步阶段到迅速发展阶段，法政翻译逐渐成为翻译活动的重点。法政书籍的翻译，对清末的变法修律，对中国近代社会政治的转变起到了巨大的作用。
