关于公安院校学报选题策划的认识与思考

通过重视和实践选题策划来提高期刊质量,这已在公安院校学报界达成了共识。文章论述了公安院校学报的选题特点以及在选题策划中容易出现的问题,并且对如何进行选题策划进行了若干思考。     

论高校学报青年编辑自身素质的提升

在我国科技事业飞速发展和计算机技术普遍应用的新形势下,高校学报和青年编辑会面临新的挑战,但也迎来了新的发展机遇。青年编辑应努力培养良好的思想政治素质、职业道德素质和业务素质,充分利用科研实力雄厚的高校环境和各种有利条件,不断拓展专业知识,做＂学者型编辑＂,并能够熟练应用计算机技术和网络技术,为高校学报在新形势下的发展作出积极贡献。     

An Assessment of Recent Authors and Authorship Patterns in Taiwan's Public Administration Research

The public administration (PA) field in Taiwan has undergone a period of rapid transformation over the past two decades. The purpose of this study is to provide a more recent assessment of Taiwanese PA research. To that end, this study examines the characteristics of contemporary PA authors who published articles in five core PA journals in Taiwan between 1996 and 2007, assesses the journals' co-authorship/collaboration trends over the period, and identifies the publication and funding patterns of the 20 most-frequently published scholars. Implications of the study and suggestions for future research are discussed in the paper.

The next steps in academic integrity — education,awareness, norms,duty and law

We conducted and analyzed several internet surveys in order to understand the profile of global research integrity and ethical awareness, encompassing global population distribution. These were (1) the global distribution of Committee of Publishing Ethics (COPE) membership; (2) the global distribution of "Integrity" or "Ethics" journals; (3) the level of academic integrity awareness in European higher education institutions and (4) awareness of academic integrity in the top universities of Asia and Africa. The results of this survey series highlight seriously imbalanced awareness of research integrity and publishing ethics across the world, especially in developing areas with the highest population density. We therefore propose a new index, the "Academic Integrity Awareness Index" for future discussions across the linked spheres of publishing and research.
