典型图瓦社区居民对旅游影响的态度研究——以喀纳斯村为例

旅游业促进旅游地快速发展的同时,也给旅游地带来了诸多问题,社区参与逐渐成为其关注对象。以一个旅游开发比较成功的旅游点——喀纳斯旅游风景区为例,通过性别、年龄、教育、收入、地理位置来分析居民对旅游态度的影响感知,重点分析、探讨了社区居民积极的旅游感知态度形成的影响因素,旅游开发对社区经济、社会、文化等方面的影响。试图通过实证研究,对社区居民积极、正面旅游感知态度进行理论探讨。     

A School-Based Approach to HIV Prevention for Inner-City African-American and Hispanic Adolescent Females

This study examined the efficacy of a school-based HIVIAIDS prevention intervention for African-American and Hispanic adolescent females. Participants, 60 high school freshmen enrolled in an inner-city parochial high school, were randomly assigned to either HIVIAIDS prevention or attention-placebo womanhood interventions. Significant ethnic differences were found, with African- American adolescents reporting notably higher levels of sexual assertiveness and comfort discussing AIDS preventivc behaviors, as compared to Hispanic adolesccnt females. Further, both African-American and Hispanic participants who received the HIV/AIDS prevention intervention increased their knowledge of AIDS, more so than participants in the attention-placebo condition. These findings highlight the importance of culture in the design of relevant and sensitive HIV/AIDS prevention interventions for ethnic minority youth.

Feral Beasts: An Introduction to Tony Blair's Reuters Speech on the Media

One of Prime Minister Blair's last speeches was on his governments relationship to the media, and the at times damaging impact of the 'sensation hungry media' on every aspect of public life, many of whom were too frightened to take on the 'feral beasts'. He argued that his government had to attempt to deal with the media power, that 'spin' is an attempt to handle that power, that the media attack private life and that in the end the media must manage themselves. The piece includes his speech, the revealing questions and answers, and commentary on them by a series of distinguished journalists and academics.

青年期是人生发展的转型期和关键期,青年以怎样的方式去生活,对青年人生发展具有特殊意义。研究当代青年生活方式的问题,应该从发展的角度,根据青年生活方式的时代性、过渡性、层次性的总体特征,着重考虑青年的生活目标、生活方式的世界化和民族化、物质生活与精神生活的平衡、对接受教育的理解以及正确处理闲暇与工作的关系等方面的内容。

THE LIFE COURSE OF CRIMINOLOGY IN THE UNITED STATES: THE AMERICAN SOCIETY OF CRIMINOLOGY 2003 PRESIDENTIAL ADDRESS*

The field of criminology lacks a sense of its own history. To rectify this situation, I apply the concepts and framework of the life‐course perspective to the development of criminology as a discipline. Examining criminology in the United States over the last 100 years, I discuss three eras (or life‐course phases), intellectual continuities and turning points in the field. My thesis is that if we knew our history, we would realize that ideas about crime matter. I offer a revised version on how to view criminology and in doing so address the theme of the 2003 annual meeting of the American Society of Criminology, “The Challenge of Practice, the Benefits of Theory.”
