Men and manners: Kantian humanism,rhetoric and the history of ethics

Modern humanist ethics (more Kantian than is sometimes thought) is driven by a will-to-perfection in the form of ideals of self-transcendence. This perfectionism entails a (would-be) exclusion or marginalisation of certain elements of ‘pre-Enlightenment’ ethical cultures bearing on rhetoric, manners and self-empowerment. This essay provides a set of conceptual-historical arguments preliminary to reinserting these disparaged elements into the forefront of a progressive ethos which, it is claimed, cannot afford to be exclusively dependent on an amalgam of Enlightenment and Romantic ideals. Ethics is irreducible to the realm of ideal and values, and there are other sorts.

日本大地震及其引发的海啸和核泄漏带来巨大损失，对日本社会心理产生直接影响，触发了较为普遍的社会焦虑、对国家前途的消极预判、对政府信任感的下降以及社会危机感和内部压抑。日本政府和社会正在努力开展多层次、全方位的灾后社会心理干预和社会心理重建。日本震后社会心理嬗变的特征和趋势需要加以关注，其社会心理重建的经验和做法亦值得中国借鉴。     

Advocacy for prevention: The role of the mental health association in Michigan

SUMMARY

This paper describes the application of such community psychology principles of empowerment and systemic interventions in a variety of applied settings, including school systems, a university campus, and a community hospital. The consistent application of such principles illustrates one way in which a viable career as community psychologist can be maintained in settings that do not have community psychology positions per se.     

大学生就业心理压力问题调查与分析

本文通过调查问卷的方式,以浙江大学信息与电子工程学系学生为例,针对大学生的就业心理压力源、男女生就业态度等方面进行调查统计与分析,了解目前大学生在择业就业中存在的心理问题,并提出构建社会、学校、家庭、学生四位一体的就业心理咨询辅导体系,有利于学校对大学生进行有针对性的就业指导,帮助大学生更好地踏入社会,走上工作岗位。

虽然学界对民间规范的研究已不限于法学领域,但研究方法仍相对局限。由于主体的社会行为同其社会心理有着内在关联,民间规范在许多情况下都已经与个体的社会心理融为一体,成为个体社会心理机制中的一个重要因素,因此运用社会心理学的理论与进路研究民间规范较为可取也非常有益。通过研究民间规范的社会心理机制能更好地了解我们社会中存在的切实有效的规范形式和内容,并且有助于推动我国法律心理学的深入研究。     

The Conceit of Self-Loathing

This article explores the psychological intricacies of the Theravādin interpretation of the “conceit of inferiority” (omāna), which is considered to be one of the standard types of pride or conceit (māna). Considering oneself inferior involves an inflated and contrived construction of oneself, akin to other varieties of conceit. Yet (omāna) is a curious form of pride, involving as it does much selfabasement, and even loathing and despising of oneself. Drawing primarily on Abhidhamma canonical and commentarial texts, the article investigates how this conceit illuminates subtle forms of self-affirmation, the affective aspects of selfassessment, and the socially determined dimensions of self-knowledge. The article also offers some comparative considerations with ideals of humility in western traditions.

悔罪心理是促进犯罪嫌疑人供述最积极的心理因素,是由犯罪嫌疑人自身的悔罪因素和外在讯问人员适时的刺激综合作用而产生的.在讯问实践中,侦查人员应积极运用心理学的动机产生原理,通过具有针对性的情感感化、说服教育的引导的心理策略,激发、强化悔罪心理,同时注意识别虚伪、错误的供述.讯问人员的自身素质对供述行为也会产生影响.

行政文化是行政主体内在信仰、价值观、行政意识、行政道德、以及对其产生影响的行政传统、习惯、准则等各种要素的总和。加强行政文化建设，有利于深化行政体制改革，促进行政人才健康成长，增强行政群体的向心力，改善思想政治工作“疲软”状况。当前，确立服务社会、服务公众的行政价值观，培育现代行政意识，加强政府伦理建设，继承优秀的行政文化传统，培养健康的行政心理，是推进我国行政文化建设的基本路径。
