近10余年来由于受到“全球化”大潮的冲击,在东亚也出现了“地域化”思潮。面对同样的挑战,东亚各国已经意识到采取共同的经济文化防卫机制的迫切性与重要性。其中,东盟各国表现出了强烈的主体性。从亚洲主义的角度分析东亚地域所产生的“地域化”、“本土化”趋势的实质,可以确证东盟对东亚地区的经济合作、文化共创进而对东亚共同体的最终形成将日益发挥越来越重要的作用。  相似文献

The dramatic increase in intra-Asia cross-nationality marriage is a distinct, yet relatively under-researched, aspect of globalization and regionalization. Most existing research focuses on individual experiences of international marriage, but articles in this issue are intended to examine the politics of legal recognition: namely, how states categorize, legitimate and de-legitimate various intimacies, and how gender, religion, nationality and class play their roles in this process. More specifically, the articles address the following four themes: (1) the links between the institutionalization of marriage and ideologies of family in the process of nation-building; (2) the coexistence and conflicts between different legal systems vis-à-vis marriage and the related social implications; (3) gender and its implications for access to citizenship; and (4) recent policy changes in nationality laws and the reconstruction of ‘national identities’ in the transnational context. Thus, collectively this volume deepens our understanding of citizenship issues in East and Southeast Asia by teasing out how, in the case of foreign spouses, membership of a nation is determined legally, politically, culturally and socially.  相似文献

This paper assesses the impact of foreign direct investment on China's integration into the East Asian regional economy. The phenomenal growth of investment since 1992 has both benefited from, and also fuelled, the growth of local autonomy in post‐Mao China. The central state's ability to control the process of integration has subsequently been significantly undermined as the relationship between the local and the international becomes ever more important. While the tendency to emphasize low cost production advantages has attracted considerable inward investment in some areas, impressive short‐term growth rates may hide less beneficial long‐term consequences for China's position within East Asia, and for the trajectory of China's development in general.  相似文献

Abstract

The creation of an integration scheme of the dimensions of the Asia‐Pacific Economic Co‐operation forum (APEC) is causing concern for the future of the world trading system. APEC will either turn into an economic bloc or it will become a forum of limited relevance. If APEC decided to form a classic free trade area and provided its trade concessions only on the basis of reciprocity, there would be little need for the World Trade Organization (WTO) in the future. Considering its size, APEC could then easily develop into a competing system for the liberalization of trade. If, however, APEC continues its policy of ‘coordinated unilateral liberalization’, the motivation for APEC will have to be questioned: if trade liberalization following the General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade (GATT) logic, i.e. on a non‐discriminatory basis following the most‐favoured nation principle, is desired, should not this aim be pursued in the appropriate forum, i.e. in the World Trade Organization (WTO)?  相似文献

人民币区域化是人民币国际化和东亚货币一体化的突破口,其首先在东盟地区实施的条件正在成熟。鉴于广西北部湾经济区正成为中国-东盟次区域合作发展的重要引擎,为人民币区域化提供了动力,因此,以泛北部湾次区域经贸一体化和金融合作推动人民币区域化,广西的区位优势尤为明显。广西的着力点在于以泛北部湾金融改革与合作为重心、以泛北部湾经贸一体化为载体推动人民币区域化。侧重点包括推进广西货物贸易人民币结算试点工作,加快中资金融机构国际化进程,建设良好的金融合作机制等。  相似文献

Public debt management is an infrequent focus of public administration studies. Yet without appropriate debt management, administrators have few financial resources for public service provision. Island‐state administrators face an enhanced service provision challenge. The peculiarity of island‐state economies, the unpredictability of exogenous events and the state's endogenous choices increase debt administration's importance. Via its focus on debt management office location and the administrative constraints posed by brain drain, transparency and regionalization, this paper goes beyond typical debt management studies to engage debt administration spaces. The result is a framework for studies of debt administration in Small Island‐States.  相似文献

“美国制造”的金融危机使全球实体经济饱受侵害。后危机时代,防御由以美元主导的国际货币体系带来的负面影响、改革和重建国际货币金融体系是各国经济体普遍关注的话题。危机导致的美元衰落需要新的国际货币替代,而危机中坚挺的人民币却赢得了良好的国际地位和声誉,伴随着中国成为全球第三大经济体,第二大贸易国和第一大外汇储备国等综合国力的强劲,人民币区域化、国际化迎来了难得的历史发展机遇。本文分析了人民币区域化、国际化的战略机遇以及可行性,提出人民币区域化、国际化的路径选择,在此基础上,提出推进中国一东盟区域货币合作以加快人民币区域化进程的策略。  相似文献
