刑事技术专业开展探索性实验教学的思考

实验教学是高等教育的一个重要组成部分,是培养高素质公安专门人才的重要途径。这篇思考,以刑事技术专业为例,论述了传统实验教学存在的不足,提出了公安高专开展探索性实验教学的主导思想、步骤及开展探索性试验的意义。     

论高等职业教育教师的素质

高等职业教育教师其职业的特殊性要求不仅要“学高”、“德高”,还要“技高”。造就一支具有高等职业教育理念,具有较高理论与实践教学能力,并具有创新精神的师资队伍,是高等职业教育发展的客观要求。     

大学成为“技工学校”与技工短缺悖论的思考

实用主义的教育观导致的大学精神缺失和教育腐败,使我们的政府、学校,使我们的教育者和受教育者都陷入了一种明知不可却不得不为之的境地.改变这一悖论的途径,首先,必须增加政府的教育投入,改变政府教育投入的分配和使用,开放民办高等教育,增加教育供给;其次,在高等教育中引入市场机制,堵住学校通过升格来获取政府教育投入的途径,使专科、本科和研究生教育各司其职;再次,不同的学校都应强化人文教育,回归教育的本质--立德树人.

针对教师队伍建设出现的问题,高校必须实施“高层次创造人才工程”,构筑高校人才高地,切实加强高校教师队伍建设,开创高校教师队伍建设的新局面。

《教师》是英国维多利亚时期伟大的女作家夏洛蒂·勃朗特的第一部小说,是夏洛蒂生活的一副精美素描,她把自己自尊自强的女性意识及对未来的家庭婚姻设想融入这部小说,虽然在某种程度上带有理想的色彩,但却揭示出夏洛蒂对女性生活和命运的深层思考,由于小说所体现的超前的女性意识,深受中外读者的喜爱,也为后来的女性主义文学批评提供了宝贵的精神财富。     

Moderate Secularism, Religion as Identity and Respect for Religion

Political secularism takes many forms but a fundamental distinction is between radical and moderate kinds. The latter is a genuine secularism and not just a failure to take secularism to its logical conclusion. The failure to appreciate this obscures the secularism that exists in western Europe. Namely, an accommodation of organised religion which sees it as a potential public good or national resource (not just a private benefit), which the state can in some circumstances assist to realise—even through an 'established' church. I adumbrate five types of reasons the state might be interested in religion: truth, danger, utility, identity and respect. The challenge facing such secularism today is whether it can be pluralised or multiculturalised, in particular whether it can accommodate Muslims. A ground for optimism is the respect that some people, especially some Muslims, have for religions other than their own.

浅谈法律复合型人才的培养模式

法学是一门实践性、应用性极强的学科,法学教育的目标就应定位于培养适应社会经济、政治、文化等各方面发展要求的职业法律人才上。随着我国法制建设的步伐不断加快,培养具有全球视角和具有国际竞争力的高素质人才已经成为高等法律教育的主要方向。因而,传统的教学方法,以"考试论英雄"的评估模式,已无法跟上法学专业化的转变进程,无法满足社会的需求。形成法律复合型人才培养的新模式是21世纪法律全球化、现代化的必要前提。     

我国刑事诉讼价值的内涵分析

对刑事诉讼价值的理解主要应从哲学、伦理学和经济学等角度去把握。在刑事诉讼价值诸多学说中,“价值层次论”隐含着优先选择的矛盾根源。刑事诉讼价值论相对刑事诉讼目的论来说是更为基础、更为根本的理论。恢复性司法程序中体现了刑事诉讼新价值,即尊重和修复。     

“The world would just fall apart if there’s no respect at all”: children’s understandings of respect for diversity in a post-conflict society

The term ‘respect for diversity’ has gained prominence in many policy and curricular developments aimed at promoting reconciliation and pluralism. To explore the understandings of ‘respect for diversity’ held by children in a society that has both emerged from conflict and is increasingly multicultural, 15 group interviews were conducted with 7–11-year-old children in Northern Ireland. The behavioural aspects of respect for diversity articulated by the children were identified as: attention; offering time; equality of treatment; and acts of solidarity. Affective motivations for these actions were empathy and the pursuit of friendship; cognitive motivations were: a moral norm of inclusion; curiosity; internalised human rights principles; and egalitarianism (a belief that all persons are equal in fundamental worth or value). Findings are discussed in relation to theories of children’s prejudice development and moral development, and implications for the teaching and promotion of respect for diversity as part of peace education programmes are considered.
