The establishment of the presence of sperm in stains by an agar gel electrophoretic method]

Comparative investigation of seminal stains and other secretions from human body and blood as well as objects of plant origin by gel electrophoresis using alkaline values of pH buffer solutions and subsequent enzymography for acid phosphatase made it possible to develop optimal conditions for detection of seminal presence in stains. Good preservation of seminal acid phosphatase in stains during several years is shown.     

The simultaneous establishment of the presence and classification of human (primate), bird and fish blood by electrophoresis

Electrophoretic method of simultaneous determination of blood presence and its human (primates), bird and fish origin was developed. Method is based on detection of diagnostical characteristics possessing specific electrophoretic mobility and doesn't require use of precipitating sera. Diagnostical feature of human (primates) blood is methaemalbumin detectable in anodic part of electrophoregram and not detectable within the given test conditions in bloodstains of other animals. In bird and fish blood haemoglobin is determined in cathodic part of electrophoregram which differs from mammals blood by its electrophoretic mobility.     

The strength, biochemical and biophysical properties of the skin in the simulation of injuries

The results of experimental investigation on determination of stress-strain and resistant skin properties, its plastic elements (collagenous proteins, proteoglycans, glycoproteins) and steam permeability in lesion modelling are presented.     

Pathomorphological study in craniocerebral injury

Time course of the posttraumatic process in craniocerebral injuries is analyzed. Pathomorphological picture of changes in soft tissues of the head, meninx, and brain matter are described. Several periods are distinguished. Factors affecting the course of the posttraumatic process in the above-mentioned structures are discussed.     

Detection of A and B antigens of the ABO system in a single-hair stem

A method was elaborated for detection of the system ABO antigens in a single-hair stem, containing no hair bulb or vaginal tunics, through using concurrently electrophoresis in the agarous or agar gel as well as through extracting antigens from a certain gel area onto the gauze with performing subsequently the absorption-elution reaction.
