论邓小平的民主法制观

邓小平在领导我国社会主义现代化建设及改革开放的实践中,不断总结我国社会主义民主法制建设正反两方面经验,伴随着建设中国特色社会主义理论的形成和完善,邓小平民主法制思想也形成了科学而完善的理论体系,有着深刻而丰富的内容和鲜明的时代特征。     

略谈对邓小平理论课教学的几点体会

新加坡的语言问题

母语是人在幼年时期主要通过模仿而掌握的语言.新加坡目前的主要工作和教育用语--英语并非大部分新加坡人的母语.这种实际的工作、教育用语与多数人的母语相背离的现象给新加坡年轻一代带来了不容忽视的语言问题:(1)语文能力未能全面发展.(2)未能对与语言血肉相连的文化有全面而深刻的理解.(3)影响语言艺术的创造.(4)对自己所说的语言缺少发自心底而且得到他人尊重的自豪感.新加坡未来有调整语言政策的需要.     

浅谈我国高校法治教育之改革

我国高校现行法治教育仍然与法治要求不相适应,表现在课程性质定位不准确、教材内容不完善以及教学方法陈旧等方面。高校必须按照党的十八大提出的建立＂社会主义法治国家＂的目标,准确界定高校法治教育的课程性质,完善高校法治教育的教学内容,创新高校法治教育的教学方法,使法治教育真正成为弘扬法治精神和树立法治理念的重要途径。     

“农户”内部法律关系解析

《民法通则》将“农户”确定为独立的民事主体 ,十几年后的《农村土地承包法》又规定农村土地承包经营以“农户”为主体。这些规定均以“农户”的经济属性 (生产经营单位 )和社会属性 (保障功能 )为基点 ,从而在法律制度设计上 ,强化“农户”权利的整体性 ,忽视、乃至吞噬家庭成员个人权利的独立性 ,致使《农村土地承包法》陷入诸多难解的矛盾中。只有正确界定“农户”内部法律关系才能消解这些矛盾。

通过对当代资本主义新变化及前景探析,坚定了对社会主义、共产主义必将最终取代资本主义的认识,尽管这一过程将很漫长。     

Challenger Quality and the Incumbency Advantage

Most estimates of the incumbency advantage and the electoral benefits of previous officeholding experience do not account for strategic entry by high‐quality challengers. We address this issue by using term limits as an instrument for challenger quality. Studying US state legislatures, we find strong evidence of strategic behavior by experienced challengers. However, we also find that such behavior does not appear to significantly bias the estimated effect of challenger experience or the estimated incumbency advantage. More tentatively, using our estimates, we find that 30–40% of the incumbency advantage in state legislative races is the result of “scaring off” experienced challengers.     

Korea-U.S. relations in the post-cold war world

As a way of conclusion, let me get back to where I started, which is my observation on the U.S. presidential election. Despite the scant attention paid to foreign policy issues, certain common threads seem to emerge in the foreign policy platforms of the major presidential candidates. One is the intention to stay engaged in world affairs in closer cooperation with allies and other friendly countries. Another is the importance given to promoting the values of liberal democracy and market economy in U.S. foreign policy. As a major ally of the United States, Korea cherishes its security and economic ties with the United States and intends to develop these ties even in the post-cold war era. Most importantly, Korea takes pride in the common political and economic values it shares with the United States. Whatever challenges might arise in the days to come, the shared values between Korea and the United states will serve us so that the two countries can continue to develop their relationships in the twenty-first century and beyond.

中国共产党领导的多党合作制度的巩固、完善 ,对于扩大爱国统一战线、发扬社会主义民主 ,对于实现祖国完全统一、实现初级阶段的基本路线和总任务、促进各民族的大团结 ,对于维护国家稳定、应对复杂形势的挑战、加强两个文明建设 ,对于加强思想政治工作和发挥民主党派的监督作用有着重要意义。
