Mobilising the Periphery: Brazil's My House My Life Programme and the Homeless Workers' Movement

Brazil's Movimento de Trabalhadores Sem Teto (MTST, Homeless Workers' Movement) has grown dramatically in recent years. This growth was partly provided for by the use of a large government housing programme, Minha Casa Minha Vida (MCMV, My House My Life), which allowed the MTST to construct housing for its members and swell its ranks with thousands of new members. Yet some have argued that the MCMV programme used by the MTST may compromise the autonomy of civil society organisations. This article, by contrast, argues that while the MCMV programme encouraged bureaucratic practices, it also helped to promote the cultural politics of the MTST.

When Negotiations Become Routine: Not Reinventing the Wheel While Thinking Outside the Box

In this article, we seek to apply the insights of recent research on routine to the context of repeated negotiations. To demonstrate the link between both concepts, we introduce an analytical framework in which we identify different negotiation situations in which routine can develop. We distinguish two dimensions of the negotiation process: a problem-solving dimension and a communication dimension. Our framework for analyzing the role of routine in negotiation is built around these two dimensions. We define those skills that we argue in repeated negotiations can help negotiators manage particular kinds of negotiations depending on the level and type of routinization that type of negotiation involves. Moreover, we demonstrate that our framework is inherently dynamic, which we illustrate with simplified business examples.

心理应激与故意犯罪心理产生的关系

心理学的发展为预防和打击犯罪这一课题的研究提供了新的思考方向。心理应激是心理学的一个基本概念 ,可以从心理应激与犯罪心理产生之间的关系展开初步探讨 ,并进一步以案件为例加以印证。     

Rapid postmortem changes of rat striatum dopamine, serotonin, and their metabolites as monitored by brain microdialysis

Brain microdialysis was used to monitor changes in extracelluar dopamine (DA), serotonin (5-HT), and their metabolite levels in the rat striatum at death by cervical dislocation. Maximum respective 450-fold and 150-fold increases in the extracelluar output of DA and 5-HT were observed within the first 30 min of death. DA and 5-HT outputs remained elevated over the following 2 h at levels about 100-fold and 50-fold above pre-death values, respectively. In contrast with monoamine outputs, the outputs of the DA metabolite, 3,4-dihydroxyphenylacetic acid (DOPAC), and the 5-HT metabolite, 5-hydroxyindoleacetic acid (5-HIAA), rapidly decreased by 10% and 20%, respectively 1 h after death. 5-Hydroxytryptophol (5-HTOL) gradually decreased after death. Before death both the extracellular DOPAC/DA and 5-HIAA/5-HT ratios were about 400; after death these ratios dropped to 0.56 and 4.0, respectively at 30 min. These observations suggested that regulation of neurotransmitter releases through the neuronal membrane and metabolisms in the rat striatum were seriously disrupted at death. This finding may be helpful in the determination of death in the field of forensic medicine.

经济变迁对网络犯罪形成之基础性作用研究

网络犯罪作为一种新型的犯罪，是合力作用下的产物，但经济变迁于其中起到了基础性的作用。一方面，经济发展推动下的技术革命为网络犯罪提供了必要的技术；另一方面，经济发展中的不平等及其所导致的政治上不平等，极大诱发了社会矛盾的激化，而网络正以其自由的特性成为矛盾宣泄的所在。
