在中国测绘科学研究院流传着一个说法:如果你在附近看到一位满头白发、穿着随便的老人从一辆皇冠汽车上下来,沿街买了两根油条,然后急忙赶去上班。这个老头儿一定是刘先林院士。     

质疑的意义

纽约时报8月21日报道，奥运会八冠王奥尔普斯的一百米蝶泳冠军结果具有操作嫌疑。根据这个新闻，奥运会使用的时间测量仪器的制造商、菲尔普斯的赞助商——欧米茄拒绝公开水中的摄像记录，令嫌疑增大。     

说“稳定”

稳定本指测量仪器保持其计量特性随时恒定的能力，后来被人们引用到社会学中。     

浅论三角高程测量新法

全站型电子速测仪简称全站仪，它是一种可以同时进行角度（水平角、竖直角）测量、距离（斜距、平距、高差）测量和数据处理，由机械、光学、电子元件组合而成的测量仪器。由于只需一次安置，仪器便可以完成测站上所有的测量工作，故被称为“全站仪”。都配有反光镜，即跟踪杆。如图一所示，其测距原理是：欲测定A、B两点间的距离D，安置仪器于A点，安置反射镜于B点。     

用全站仪测量横断面的几种方法

全站仪是集电磁波测距仪、电子经纬仪和计算机为一体的测量仪器。它能够直接测量出立镜处的相对位置和高程。利用全站仪这一功能，在实际测量中，将断面方向线的方位角设置为０度，断面基点设置为坐标原点，建立独立的自由坐标系。这样一来，断面点位置正好落在这个自由坐标系的x轴线上。一、断面线上无明显障碍物的测量方法在断面基点上设站，对中、置平仪器后，设置断面左方向方位角为０度。测站点坐标N、E值设置为０，Z设置为测站点高程，设置好仪器高和标高。开始测量后，直接按坐标测量键，即可显示断面点的距离和高程，以及偏离断面…     

Using court culture to strengthen the administration of trial courts

Managerial culture defines the character of administrative practices in trial courts, shaping the way cases are handled, participants in the legal process are treated, and how a court functions as an institution. In fact, the notion of local legal culture is part of the conventional wisdom. What is missing in such discussions are the benefits of a comprehensive methodological approach to translate rich ideas and hunches into the measurement of court culture. In response, researchers at the National Center for State Courts have developed an analytical framework including a conceptual typology of culture, an instrument for measuring managerial culture and a schema for interpreting results within and between courts. The essay concludes with an invitation for the People＇s Republic of China to adapt the framework to understand the nature of culture in their courts of first instance.

Can Demographic Characteristics Influence Perception on Internal Control System？

The purpose of this study is to develop a reliable and valid construct for internal control system and to assess the association between respondents＇ demographic factors and their perception on internal control system. The fraud triangle theory underpins the development of the survey instrument. Survey questionnaires were administered to 553 respondents out of which 334 were usable responses in the Malaysian financial sector, using face to face data collection procedure. Cochran＇s method was adopted for sample size determination. The confirmatory factor analysis （chi square = 3.09; AGFI = 0.81; NFI = 0.89; TLI = 0.91; CFI = 0.92; RMSEA = 0.08）, normality （skewness 〈 1.50） and reliability （composite reliability = 0.95; average variance extracted = 0.46） results were convincing. It was found that respondents＇ age （p = 0.02） and working experience （p = 0.01） had significant bearings toward their perception on internal control system within the Malaysian financial sector.
