铜对生长猪肝中IGF-Ⅰ基因mRNA表达的影响

采用生长试验、免疫放射分析和定量PCR方法,观察了生长猪血液中类胰岛素生长因子(IGF-I)及其结合蛋白(IGFBP3)数量的变化和IGF-I基因在肝中表达量的变化。结果显示, 每1 kg饲料中添加125-250 mg铜,能够上调IGF-I基因的表达量,显著提高猪的平均日增重,促进生长猪循环血液中IGF-I浓度的增加。试验结果证实,铜是通过促进生长激素-胰岛素样生长因子轴相关因子的合成和分泌来发挥促生长作用的。     

The Impact of Court Delays on the Prosecutor and the Defendant: An Economic Analysis

One important aspect of the economic theory of criminal court delay is to understand how the prosecutor and the defendant make their decisions, and how these respond to changes in trial delay. If both parties jointly maximise expected utility, trial delay may increase or decrease the number of trials, depending upon the decision makers' attitudes towards risk. The main policy implication is that providing the criminal courts with more resources in the form of additional judges and court capacity may lengthen the trial queue rather than shorten it. This is a counterintuitive result contrary to popular belief.

TESTS OF NONLINEAR DYNAMICS IN U.S. HOMICIDE TIME SERIES,AND THEIR IMPLICATIONS*

Attempts to explain temporal patterns in U.S. homicide data usually assume that a linear process accounts for the variation. A nonlinear process is an obvious alternative, however, and reasonable arguments suggest that nonlinearity may in part underlie homicide series dynamics. This paper applies tests for nonlinearity to national time series of homicide rates and counts. The results provide relatively little evidence of nonlinear structure; instead, a linear (random walk) process appears to generate most of the change in the series. Although this supports the unstated assumptions of current theories, it also raises questions about why homicides should follow a linear time path in the first place.     

Managing commercial risks in open source software licensing

Legal context: The article reviews the commercial risk allocation clauses intypical open source licence terms and discusses their enforceabilityand implications. Key points: The enforceability of warranty disclaimers and limitation ofliability clauses in common open source licence terms is questionable,particularly in a cross-border context, and commercial licensorsshould take additional steps to protect themselves from down-streamrisks. Practical significance: Open source software presents a number of unusual commercialissues, because it is available free of charge and the providerstry to disclaim warranties and liabilities. End users and resellershave to adjust their own in- and out-licensing models to accommodatethis situation.

依法治国 ,是我们建设社会主义法治国家的政治方略。要建设法治国家 ,首先就要致力于构建法治政府 ,这既是法治国家的实现手段 ,又是法治国家的重要组成部分。本文从历史的角度回顾了法治政府的相关形态 ,指出了我国进行法治政府建设应该适用的模型     

The evolution of European legal integration

This article contributes to the development of theories on European integration by testing and exploring statistical models on the long-term development of legislative activity of the European Commission. Drawing on legal information gained from the European Union’s PreLex database and analyzing it with the help of statistical analyses, we map out growth patterns of EU law between 1976 and 2003. We construct time-series models and models based on non-linear regression. While the performance of models based on the traditional theoretical approaches, intergovernmentalism and neo-functionalism, is rather poor, the analysis suggests that nonlinear dynamic models might be an interesting avenue for future conceptualizations of the EU integration process. 构建我国就业发展战略的思路和建议

本文从分析、预测我国未来5—10年的就业形势出发,构思了今后一个较长时期中国就业发展战略的基本目标、战略重点及其步骤。然后,阐述了今后扩大就业必须采取的相关措施,并提出了实现就业增长目标的政策建议。     

构建节约型社会是落实科学发展观的关键

人口众多、能源紧缺、耕地锐减是我国当前非常现实的国情。传统的粗放型的经营方式是造成资源浪费、能源匮乏的根本原因。个人的贪欲与制约机制的缺失是造成资源浪费的另一个重要原因。经济增长的高投入、高消耗、高排放、低产出的老路已走到尽头,落实科学的发展现,尽快建立社会主义节约型社会是我们的当务之急。     

治理网络游戏成瘾是青少年成长发展辅导的系统工程

互联网的迅速兴起是科学技术发展创新的重要标志,也因此给青少年带来了思维、交往等模式的变化而形成了社会性的冲击,很多青少年陷入网络瘾癖不能自拔。治理青少年网络游戏成瘾的问题应是一个青少年成长发展辅导的系统工程,绝不能片面地指责网络,更不能简单地割断青少年与网络间的联系。我们需要做的:一是研究青少年发展需求,检讨青少年的生活状态,为青少年创造一个快乐成长的客观环境;二是加强青少年成长团体的建设,为孩子搭建平等交流的人际环境平台,尽可能在青少年个体的生存环境中建设起畅通的倾诉、沟通管道;三是进入孩子们的网络世界,更直接地了解虚拟世界里的孩子,更多学会掌握现代社会信息交流的工具,在现代技术的平台上与孩子共同成长。
