公安文书写作课实施多媒体教学手段初探

在公安文书写作课中运用多媒体教学手段,不仅可以激发学生的学习兴趣,提高教学单位时间的信息量,而且可以大大减轻教师的课堂压力,增加教师在课堂上的自由活动空间,收到良好的教学效果.     

拍照、摄影与照相证据

拍照、摄影是侦查机关为证实犯罪、保全证据之目的，对犯罪现场、犯罪嫌疑人及被害人等场所或人身进行照相取证，是一种具有强制性的侦查措施。由于拍照、摄影会对拍摄对象的个人尊严及隐私权等造成侵犯，需要遵守法定的条件及程序。我国刑诉法对拍照、摄影未作出明确的规定，实践中普遍存在侵害犯罪嫌疑人、被害人隐私权的情况。有必要修改刑事诉讼法，增订拍照、摄影的法律规定。     

GrinLine Identification Using Digital Imaging and Adobe Photoshop*

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to outline a method by which an antemortem photograph of a victim can be critically compared with a postmortem photograph in an effort to facilitate the identification process. Ten subjects, between 27 and 55 years old provided historical pictures of themselves exhibiting a broad smile showing anterior teeth to some extent (a grin). These photos were termed “antemortem” for the purpose of the study. A digital camera was used to take a current photo of each subject’s grin. These photos represented the “postmortem” images. A single subject’s “postmortem” photo set was randomly selected to be the “unknown victim.” These combined data of the unknown and the 10 antemortem subjects were digitally stored and, using Adobe Photoshop software, the images were sized and oriented for comparative analysis. The goal was to devise a technique that could facilitate the accurate determination of which “antemortem” subject was the “unknown.” The generation of antemortem digital overlays of the teeth visible in a grin and the comparison of those overlays to the images of the postmortem dentition is the foundation of the technique. The comparisons made using the GrinLine Identification Technique may assist medical examiners and coroners in making identifications or exclusions.

《妇女时报》的编辑者自觉地大规模刊登女性照片,这在女性报刊史上尚属首次。这些女性摄影形象展现了清末民初上海中上层社会女性的现代生活方式、人生理想和性别观念。她们既是现代性进程的产物,又借助于媒介的构建作用而反作用于女性群体本身。她们以其过渡时期特有的矛盾特质,标志着从传统向现代的转变,开辟了现代女性视觉形象的第一个阶段。从此,围绕女性形象的视觉文化进入了现代时期。     

Hierarchical,Three‐Dimensional Measurement System for Crime Scene Scanning

We present a new generation of three‐dimensional (3D) measuring systems, developed for the process of crime scene documentation. This measuring system facilitates the preparation of more insightful, complete, and objective documentation for crime scenes. Our system reflects the actual requirements for hierarchical documentation, and it consists of three independent 3D scanners: a laser scanner for overall measurements, a situational structured light scanner for more minute measurements, and a detailed structured light scanner for the most detailed parts of tscene. Each scanner has its own spatial resolution, of 2.0, 0.3, and 0.05 mm, respectively. The results of interviews we have conducted with technicians indicate that our developed 3D measuring system has significant potential to become a useful tool for forensic technicians. To ensure the maximum compatibility of our measuring system with the standards that regulate the documentation process, we have also performed a metrological validation and designated the maximum permissible length measurement error E_MPE for each structured light scanner. In this study, we present additional results regarding documentation processes conducted during crime scene inspections and a training session.

Fighting for Fame: The ‘Heroines of Pervyse’ and the Disputed Construction of a Public Image

Abstract: This investigative analysis bases itself on an array of documentary material from the archives of the Imperial War Museum in its effort to recover the intricate story behind the two British volunteer nurses who made their name during the First World War with the first-aid station they set up in Pervyse, a mere stone's throw away from the Belgian firing line. The essay juxtaposes a variety of documentary sources—the unpublished diaries of the two women, Geraldine Mitton's reconstruction of the story out of the nurses' journals and letters in The Cellar-House of Pervyse (1916), and two photograph albums, ‘The Women of Pervyse’, bequeathed to the Imperial War Museum—in a quest to understand how the two nurses came to acquire their status of national heroines. Sifting through the source material, this investigation reveals the numerous inconsistencies and gaps that exist between the published and the unpublished accounts of the dressing station, whose true genesis is obscured by several competing narratives. A close reading of Mitton's account and the photographic portraitures discloses that neither of these documents ought to be taken at their face value. They need to be understood as valuable tools in the nurses' own battle for authority, public recognition and their opportunity to feature as genuine protagonists in the arena of war.

公安文书内容庞杂，文种繁多。运用比较法实施教学就会收到良好的效果。在写作基础理论上与文学写作比较，在写作特点上与行政公文比较，在写作内容上各类有联系的文种比较，通过比较寻找其中的规律，无疑能把握重点难点，提高教学质量。     

高等职业教育国际比较研究的文献述评

目前,我国已有许多高等职业教育国际比较研究的文献,包括高等教育的法制建设、财政制度、管理体制等问题,涉及的国别也很多。而这些研究大都是从一个或几个方面入手探讨一个或几个国家高等职业教育问题,略显片面,应从更广泛的角度进行系统考察。总结国内现有研究成果的缺失,既可以为今后的研究提供借鉴,也能在一定程度上减少由于研究角度不同给政策制定部门带来困扰和误导;在国际比较研究中加强关注、考察世界各国在高等职业教育的制度和政策,有助于解决国内高等职业教育的现实问题,也可为其提供更多的实证依据和政策建设。     

Europeans of the Peruvian Andes: A Family History, 1860s–1940s

Liberal elites in nineteenth-century Peru were eager to attract European immigrants to help modernise their country. The majority arrived independently bringing commercial skills, while a minority, contracted as colonists, settled in the tropical lowlands. This article focuses on two European communities established in the central Andean region, where immigrants from northern Italy excelled as merchants and families from the Austrian Tyrol became smallholders. Through a reconstruction of one family's history, which draws on personal letters and a photograph, the article explores the experiences, character and socio-economic transformation of these communities and the significance given to European-ness and whiteness.
