传媒问责与司法独立

新闻自由和司法独立均系现代社会不可或缺的原则,二者应当保持良性互动的关系。然而传媒活动稍有不慎就有妨碍司法独立之嫌,司法出于自我保护的本能也会拒斥传媒。由于传媒与司法具有明显的角色差异,因此必须在保证司法公正的前提下最大限度地保障传媒的正当报道权利。     

新闻自由与司法公正的冲突与协调

新闻自由与司法公正是民主与法治的基本要素,是民主国家追求的基本价值。其中,新闻自由是一项基本的宪法权利,推动着民主社会的良性运转;司法公正是构建社会主义法治的必备要素。但现实中传媒与司法之间的矛盾与冲突不断上演,如何平衡两者的关系成为亟须解决的时代课题。     

论环境新闻传播对社会发展的功能

环境新闻具有广泛性、冲突性、刺激性、相关性、复杂性等特性,对社会发展起着不可替代的积极影响。环境新闻的社会功能主要体现在扩大认知视野、守卫环境生态、增强情感交流、提高思想教育、凸显经济价值、产生审美愉悦等方面。我国的环境报道在重视长期效应、拓展题材领域、强调内容科学等方面都还存有不足,尚待改进提升,以更好地发挥其应有的作用。     

Ahmed İhsan and the ‘Wealth of the Sciences’

In the past, weekly journals often served as the primary vehicle for the publication and dissemination of high-quality literature. Novels and plays were often serialized in such periodicals, which also featured items of poetry, essays and even political analysis. The Turkish weekly Servet-i Fünun [Wealth of the Sciences] which began publishing in 1891 and closed down in 1944 attracted contributions from the best Turkish writers of its time, and its very name became a banner for new currents in Turkish literature, whether poetry or prose. Part of its success was due to the single-minded labours of its founder and editor, Ahmed ?hsan, a journalist and novelist of distinction. The article attempts to assign to the journal and its editor their proper place within the history of Turkish literary journalism.     

Co-Reach in IPR in New Media Workshop: CLSR co-hosts policy meeting on ISP Liability

The Co-Reach Workshop on ISP Liability on December 7, 2010 was organised by the Co-Reach IPR in New Media at the Herbert Smith Conference Center in London. The policy-making workshop was co-hosted by Computer Law and Security Review, as part of its aim to position itself at the forefront of policy discussion drawing upon the high quality scholarly contributions to the journal from leading experts around the world.     

灾难新闻积极性效果的多层次分析

灾难新闻是新闻报道中较为敏感的门类,给人们增加警惕与防范意识,现阶段虽已得到加强,但报道过程中仍有不少障碍和限制,并使公众知情权受到损害。传媒对灾难危机所持的立场应代表社会的公正性,不能漠视公众知情权的满足,应努力披露事实,促进事态妥善解决;发挥警示作用,使公众认知灾难;提供信息情报,发挥决策借鉴与防灾减灾的作用;思考道德、人性、价值等观念,延伸社会意义;适应和促进媒体竞争的发展,积极营造更大的社会效果。     

Transtexuality and the Precarious Materials of Dissent (1973): Radicalism in Cecilia Vicuña,Felipe Ehrenberg and the Beau Geste Press (1970–1976)

The article analyses the material strategies of dissent through two transtextual bookworks, Cecilia Vicuña's Sabor a mi (Vicuña, 1973) and Felipe Ehrenberg's Pussywillow (1973) produced at the Beau Geste Press radical collective. Contesting Pinochet's coup in Chile, they resorted to visibly undisciplined responses to ‘the New Disorder now in power’. Experimenting with embodied poetics based on the page as a site of resistance, on textual construction predicated on relational impetus, they exploited litter and impoverished materials. Heterodox aesthetics at the BGP personified equivocal gender imagery. Word objects and body contours transmogrified to bring to the surface the interpenetrated textures of perception, identity and language.
