外事工作是公安大学对外合作的桥梁,也是学校提高整体办学水平的重要保障,对学校的建设和发展具有重要的作用和影响.要切实加强公安大学的外事工作,必须进一步提高对外事工作重要性和必要性的认识,转变与时代要求、与学校实际情况和发展要求不相适应的观念,在坚持"两条腿走路"的同时,注重"三个效益"一起抓,争取在规模、质量和层次方面再上新台阶.
