The analysis of FDI of Beijing shows that FDI stepped up the developmental pace of Beijing and speeded up the process of Beijing's economical integration into international economy.On one hand,FDI brought Beijing international enterprises and international talents.On the other hand,there are some problems of using FDI in Beijing,such as lower level of opening to the outside world than other international metropolitan areas,immoderate centralization of FDI resources,single form of FDI,and so on.For spreading the city's influence of Beijing,the following measures should be adopted,attracting transnational corporations in order to expand the scale of FDI,creating international environment,shifting government functions,constructing a base of international talents,strengthening publicity,and participating in international affairs.
