"Three Represent' s": Scientific Guide to the Reunification of the Motherland in the 21st Century

The important idea of "three represent's" is a guideline in rejuvenating China, seeking an early solution to the Taiwan problem and accomplishing the great cause of national reunification. First, we should put the fundamental interests of the overwhelming majority of Chinese people, including our compatriots in Taiwan in the first place in solving the Taiwan problem; second, we should greatly develop social productive forces and constantly enhance our comprehensive national strength, making all kinds of preparations, including the liberation of Taiwan by force; third, we should raise the cultural levels of the entire population, strengthen the technological and cultural exchanges between the mainland and Taiwan. We should try to win over international understanding and moral support and give full play of national culture in the reunification of the motherland.
