| Abstract: | Volatile compounds of 32 street heroin samples were analyzed by head space gas-chromatographic (HSGC) technique. The reliability of this procedure coupled with thin-layer chromatography (TLC), gas chromatography (GC), high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC), and its application to forensic casework (comparative sample analysis) is discussed. |
