明清"赶苗拓业"事件探究

在明清王朝统治的3个多世纪里,南方数省毗邻的武陵山及云贵高原东部,多次发生针对当地少数民族的“赶苗拓业”事件。“赶苗拓业”虽然不见于正史的记载,但却是包括明朝开国皇帝在内的封建王朝的统一行动,是统治阶级“平蛮”政策的实施。它给被剿杀、驱赶的相关民族带来了巨大灾难。并迫使苗族大规模西向迁徙,最终形成了今天的分布格局。

On "Driving Away Miao and Founding Family Property" of the Ming and Qing Dynasty

In the Wuling Mountain,Yunnan and Guizhou Plateau of south several provinces border on repeatedly happened "Driving Away Miao and Founding Family Property" events aimed at local minorities in over 3 centuries of Ming and Qing Dynasty.Although there was lack of the record of "Driving Away Miao and Founding Family Property" in history books written in biographical style,but it was feudal dynasty's unified action that included the emperor found Ming state,and was the implement of "put down south groups" policy of ruling class.It caused great suffering to those minorities that were exterminating and driving away.It also forced Miao Group migrating to west broad in scale,and finally formed today's scattering pattern.
