台湾经济发展中刘易斯转折点的形成及其应对策略

近年来，随着中国大陆经济的发展，劳动力短缺逐渐成为经济增长的一个新的约束条件。而我国台湾地区经济发展早于大陆，早在上世纪就出现过类似的现象。文章以刘易斯模型为基础理论，验证台湾经济的刘易斯转折点。研究发现：20世纪60年代后半期为台湾经济的刘易斯转折点。然而，跨越刘易斯转折点后，台湾经济面临着许多新的挑战，台湾当局成功采取针对性政策，实现了台湾经济增长方式的转变，产业升级、技术进步，通过对外投资延长了产品寿命，克服了通货膨胀，通过教育改革提高了人口素质，弥补了台湾劳动力的短缺，使台湾经济成功克服挑战，给祖国大陆经济发展以启示。

The Formation of Lewis''s Turning Point in Taiwan''s Economy Development and Coping Strategy

Recently along with the economic development of China, the shortage of labor gradually becomes a new constraint condition of economic growth. However Taiwan developed earlier than the mainland of China, there has been the shortage of labor in last century. This paper is based on Lewis model to test and verify the turning point of Taiwan＇ s economy. The re- search shows that,the late of the 1960s are the turning point of Lewis model. However,after that,there are a lot of challenges brought out by the turning point for Taiwan to face. To copy with those challenges and make up labor shortage. Taiwan authori- ties took policies to realize the transformation of economic growth mode, industrial upgrading and technical progress, to prolong production life by foreign investment, to overcome inflation, and to improve population quality through education. At last,Taiwan economy broke through the challenges successfully. It is worth learning.
