陈在正老师与厦门大学的台湾研究

陈在正老师是厦门大学台湾研究的一位重要奠基人和开拓者。厦门大学台湾研究所成立之前,他在历史系当系主任时,就积极组织历史系教师开展台湾史的研究和教学工作。台湾研究所成立之后,他先担任副所长,1984年12月至1987年3月任所长。他担任所长期间,推动了许多开创性的工作,为台研所的发展奠定了坚实的基础。他个人的台湾史研究也取得了许多重要成果。

Chen Zaizheng and Xiamen University's Taiwan Studies

Mr.Chen Zaizheng is an important founder and pioneer of Taiwan studies in Xiamen University.Before the establishment of the Taiwan Research Institute,Mr.Chen,the dean of the History Department at that time,actively organized the department to carry out the research and teaching of Taiwan history.Right after the Taiwan Research Institute was set up,he first served as the deputy director of the institute,and then was appointed as the director from December 1984 to March 1987.During his tenure as the director of the institute,he promoted a lot of pioneering work and laid a solid foundation for the development of the institute.He has also made many important achievements in the research of Taiwan history.
