探索中国特色社会主义的先行者和奠基人

中国特色社会主义是中国共产党,经过几代人,花了近百年的时间,艰辛探索,创立和发展的重大理论成果。毛泽东作为最早探索中国特色社会主义的先行者,作出了重大贡献。他把马克思主义的科学社会主义同中国国情和时代特征紧密结合,创立了有中国特色的民主革命道路,建立了中华人民共和国,为创立中国特色社会主义奠定了政治前提;把马克思主义的科学社会主义同新中国成立后发展变化的新情况相结合,开辟了有中国特色的社会主义改造道路,使中国进入了社会主义社会,为创立中国特色社会主义奠定了制度基础;把马克思主义的科学社会主义同完成社会主义改造后的实际情况相结合,大胆探索有中国特色的社会主义建设道路,既有成功的经验和独创性的理论,也有失误的教训,为邓小平创立中国特色社会主义理论、道路和制度提供了理论源泉和可供借鉴的经验。邓小平创立的中国特色社会主义理论,是对毛泽东思想的继承和创造性的发展。
