Abstract: | A comparative analysis of the treatment of disabled children in contemporary works of British and American writers. Novels of fantasy, realism, historical fiction and family relationships are examined, with the hope that such books will be an avenue toward a better understanding of the needs and feelings of the disabled in our society. |
