Chapter 4: Principals and Theory of Adolescent Foster Care:

Central program principles of the Kent Family Placement Service are identified and related to developments in contemporary British child care. Four areas of development in the Kent Program are described-evaluation, client population, matching, role of natural families-before turning to a discusson of the theoretical basis for special foster care for adolescents.
