Study on the Foreign Exchange Market of Vietnam

In an open economic entity, the exchange rate is typically one of the most important variables that exert considerable influence over the macroeconomy,inflation rate, international competitiveness,trade performance and financial stability. As the non-international currency, the exchange rate between Vietnamese Dong and dollar yields from the foreign exchange market in Vietnam. This paper studies the history and present situation of Vietnam foreign exchange market.
