A Sociological View on International Armed Conflicts of Modern Times

Sociologists have made sustained exploration of theories about the social motives, conse- quences, and social control of international armed conflicts, which provides us with a rich theoret- ical reference for our research on modern international armed conflicts. Potential factors to trigger armed conflicts still exist in the international community. The international community should take various measures to prevent wars, especially to strengthen the management of international crisis, establish the early warning system of international crisis, so as to "mitigate conflicts" and actively promote the development of human peace enterprise.
