Marxism has problems to solve in different historical periods and therefore has different theoretical emphases.The important idea of"three representatives"takes the party in power as its theoretical emphasis.It creatively answers the questions of what party to construct and how to construct the party and further answers the questions of what is socialism and how to construct socialism.It solves the problem of how a party in power constructs itself,keeps its nature of being an advanced party and builds the country into a strong one.It has formed a set of theory concerning the ruling of the party,the country and the army and the construction of socialism with Chinese features.It has made a contribution to the construction of the theory of socialist party in power and is an important development to Marxism.
