法治政治与执政党的政治权威

中国如何转向以法治为保障，以自由、公平、有序、非对抗性竞争为内涵的现代民主国家，既是对执政党的考验，也是对全体中国人的考验。而这一转型的成败，关键在于执政党能否忠诚并信仰宪法，自觉推进法治政治，通过限制自己的权力来重铸执政的合法性基础，重建自己的政治权威。法治政治，归根到底是要求权力服从法律，共产党依法执政。

Rule of Law and the Reconstruction of the Party's Political Authority

It is a critical test not only for the Party but also for all Chinese people that how China should turn herself into a modern democracy with free, just, valid and non-confront competition. The success of the transition highly depends on whether the Communist Party shall become loyal to and believes in constitutionalism, and conscientiously promotes rule of law, and obeys the control of law. All in all, the Party has to re-establish its political authorities and validity for staying in power by following the constitution and law and restricting its power.
