| 摘 要： | People believe that paper-cuts can bring good fortune and exorcise ghosts, can exhort for good and warn against punishment. The creative approaches include abstraction,exaggeration, repetition, symbolism, and decoration. As regards colors, they go in for red, yellow, orange, blue, and purple, red being a particular favorite. There is great stylistic variety in paper-cuts among China＇s ethnic groups. |
