对发展公安高等院校非学历教育的思考

非学历教育具有周期短、见效快、针对性强等特点，能够快速体现出办学效应和社会效应。我国加入WTO和终身教育观念的普及为非学历教育的发展提供了前所未有的机遇。公安高等院校应该抓住机遇，解决思想认识、教学．管理、机制等方面存在的问题，建立多层次的非学历教育形式，优化课程设置，灵活使用教学手段，严格考核，规范管理，注重效果，服务公安实践。
