What stylistics is studying is how to use appropriately expressions in certain context in order to achieve the best effect of expression in language communication.The target of English teaching is not only at mastery of linguistic forms,but also at building student's communicative capacity,namely the ability of linguistic use.In English teaching,teachers ought to introduce knowledge of stylistics and cultivate student's awareness of accurate register use in order to promote the capability of language communication in a productive way.
