略论东通道建设对广西经济社会发展的影响

广西东通道连接着最具实力活力的粤港澳地区。在区域经济一体化过程中,广西要冲破自我封闭的行政分割,打造并利用各种现代通道和载体,优化配置有限资源,尤应高度重视改善和充分利用东通道经济功能,加快建设东向干线铁路,大力整治西江航道,自觉接受东部经济辐射,融入“泛珠”,以充实担纲“国际大通道”的实质内容。

The Influence of Constructing the Eastward Passage on the Development of Guangxi Economy

The eastward passage is linking Guangxi to the most developed areas of China:Cuangdong,Hongkong and Macao. During the process of regional economic integration, it is of necessity for Cuangxi to establish the concept of scientific development, to effectively use the limited resources by breaking regional division of the market. More important, Cuangxi should make better use of the economic function of the eastward passage by speeding up the construction of eastward railway and Xi River channel so as to set up close economic relationship with Guangdong, Hongkong and Macao and better perform its role as an international passage.
