信息化引领监狱工作科学发展的实践与思考

当今社会,信息化已成为社会经济发展的大趋势,是衡量一个行业、一个部门现代化水平的重要标志。监狱信息化就是把以计算机网络和通信技术为核心的信息技术广泛应用到监狱各项工作中,把监狱各项纷繁复杂的管理工作与现代科技紧密结合,运用现代科技手段来保障其职能的履行,实现监狱工作规范化、智能化和科学化,引领监狱工作科学发展。这就要求我们要主动迎接信息化浪潮带来的新机遇和新挑战,积极探索监狱信息化发展新模式,切实发挥信息化的引领作用。

Practice and Thinking of Scientific Development of Information Technology in Prison Management

At present, information technology （IT） has become a trend of social and economic development and at the same time a symbol of measuring the modernization level of an industry and branch. Prison information technology is to apply computer networking and information technology the core of which is IT, to the work of prison so as to integrate various complex management works with modern technology and make use of the means of modern science and technology to ensure the fulfillment of its function. Thus, a standardized, intelligent, and scientific mode of prison management will be realized .We are supposed to make the initiative to meet the new opportunities and challenges brought by IT and actively explore the new mode of prison information technology to effectively bring the leading role of IT into full play.
