佛光神韵海棠山

海棠山,相传是释迦牟尼姨母大白伞盖佛母的道场,与神秘古刹瑞应寺并称藏传佛教东方中心,民间称为东藏。雕刻于300多年前、现保存完好的267尊摩崖造像,姿态殊异,影像传神,被誉为中国东方“民族文化瑰宝”;由三座山峰形成的999米卧佛形象逼真,其躯干上由裸岩组成的“寿”字线条清晰,道劲有力,佛寿一体,交相辉映,无不彰显“东藏第一山”神的。

Haitangshan Mountain Benefits From Buddhist Sites

Situated in Daban Town, Fuxin Mongolia Autonomous County, Haitangshan is an outstanding example of the artful combining of the humanistic sights of Buddhism and natural sights. It is supposed to the place where the Mother Buddha with the White Parasol, the aunt of Sakyamuni, performed Buddhist rites. Together with the mysterious ancient Ruiyingsi Temple, it is known as a major center of Tibetan Buddhism. The 267 cliff statues carved over 300 years ago are well preserved; they vary in gesture and have a vivid image, and are regarded as ＂Treasure of National Culture of China＂. The 999-meter-long prone Buddha, formed by three hills, is lifelike.
