| Abstract: | Smoke layer interface height is an important parameter in fire experiments. Traditional method is based on vertical temperature measured by thermocouple tree. However, this method may not work efficiently in large scale fire tests. A new technology to detect the smoke layer interface height in large scale fire tests by infrared beam fire detectors was brought forward in this paper to provide another better alternative choice. |
