Procedural Control of Informant Investigation in Drug Case--Analysis Based on 4322 Cases

Through the statistical analysis of 4322 cases and related data,it is found that with regard to the involvement of informant in China’s drug cases,the determination proportion in various places,the determination attitude of three parties in criminal trail and the identity sources of the informant are all diverse,and that the cases were mainly small-package-drug trafficking,in which temptations often exist.Reflecting in practice,broad selection conditions,scope of cases deviating from the law,lack of evidence premises,excessive intervention,and monitoring anomie are the main problems.As to reform,the election system,the application situations,the evidence premises,the intervention degree and consequences,the procuratorial supervision and the confrontation mechanisms should be improved in China.
